Full Job Description

We are expanding our Remote Tax team by offering a unique opportunity for aspiring tax professional with little to no experience. This position is ideal for individuals who are serious about starting their tax preparation journey, want to operate independently, and are ready to build something of their own with support and guidance.

This entry-level position welcomes candidates eager to develop their skills in tax preparation and client services. As a Remote tax preparer, you will assist with the preparation of filing their federal and state tax returns for individuals and small businesses during tax season using professional tax software to complete return returns, growing your own client base with adequate training and resources; while working under the umbrella of a trusted brand.

WHAT MAKES THIS OPPORTUNITY DIFFERENT?

You will operate as a 1099 independent contractor, not an employee. You will get access to the required tools, training and support needed to excel and confidently start your journey. There are no quotas, no micromanagement; work remotely from home or anywhere with Internet access. We’re looking for people who are: self motivated and teachable and coachable, excited to learn something new and build from the ground up, professional in how they communicate with clients, and willing to market themselves.
No worries we will definitely show you how . You must be willing to obtain and keep an active PTIN (Paid Tax preparer identification number ) we will assist you with the application. This opportunity is a seasonal remote position. Those with blemishes to their background are encouraged to apply.

.DUTIES

Prepare individual and small business tax returns using professional tax preparation software software training provided
Review and organize tax documents, including W2s, 1099,s, and other income statements for accuracy and compliance.
Assist clients with understanding, tax concepts, deductions, credits, and compliance requirements
Conduct basic interview of financial data to support, accurate tax reporting and filing
Communicate clearly with clients regarding their tax obligations documentation needs and filing deadlines
Support the collection of client information through interviews or digital communication channels
Maintain organized records of all tax documents, report and client correspondence and compliance with the confidentiality standards.

EXPERIENCE:

Prior experience in customer service or finance is encouraged, but not required. Entry-level candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
Great customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and professionally
Equipped with basic math skills for efficient data entry
Knowledge of software such as : Excel, Word Perfect, and Microsoft Outlook are beneficial for record
