Orthodontic Assistant

Pay: $19.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience

My Smile Orthodontist is looking for a positive, dependable, and motivated Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing team!

Schedule & Location

This position requires traveling between our Newtown, PA and Holland, PA offices on a rotating schedule. The offices are only about 11 minutes apart, making travel quick and convenient.

Office Hours

Monday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Tuesday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Qualifications

Orthodontic assisting experience preferred (dental assisting experience will also be considered)
X-ray certification is a plus but is not required upon hire
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
Reliable, organized, and eager to learn
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Passion for delivering outstanding patient care and creating an exceptional patient experience

Responsibilities

Assist the orthodontist in providing exceptional patient care
Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments and supplies are ready
Take diagnostic photographs and radiographs (when certified)
Assist with orthodontic procedures, including bracket placement, wire changes, and digital 3D scanning
Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment expectations
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
Assist with scheduling and other administrative duties as needed
Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment
