IT Support Technician

Location: New York, NY

Salary Range: $60k - $75k

Reports To: IT Systems & Operations Lead

You'll work alongside a collaborative team that believes in continuous learning, ownership, and delivering outstanding service. This is a role where you'll gain exposure to a wide variety of technologies while building skills that can grow into Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, or IT Operations leadership.

What You'll Do

Deliver Exceptional Technical Support

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for end users across Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and common business applications.
Provide remote and occasional on-site support for client environments.
Own support tickets from intake through resolution while delivering a high level of customer service.

Maintain Healthy Client Environments

Monitor and respond to alerts generated by our monitoring and management platforms.
Deploy operating system and third-party application updates.
Perform routine maintenance to keep workstations, servers, and cloud environments running reliably.
Verify backups, system health, and device compliance.

Support Cybersecurity Operations

Investigate and respond to endpoint security alerts.
Assist with user access management, MFA, VPN, and email security.
Help maintain secure client environments by following established security procedures and best practices.

Manage Users & Devices

Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts across Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
Configure and deploy new computers and mobile devices.
Support employee onboarding and offboarding.
Maintain accurate asset inventory and documentation.

Support Client Infrastructure

Assist with troubleshooting wired and wireless networks.
Support Ubiquiti networking equipment, VPN connectivity, printers, and other office technologies.
Escalate complex infrastructure issues while assisting with implementation and testing.

Improve the Way We Work

Document solutions and contribute to internal knowledge bases.
Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements.
Help improve automation, documentation, and operational consistency across the MSP.

Experience with a combination of the following is helpful:

Microsoft 365 Administration
Google Workspace Administration
Windows and macOS support
Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
Endpoint management and patching
NinjaOne (or similar RMM platforms)
SentinelOne or other endpoint security solutions
Email security platforms
Ubiquiti UniFi networking
VPN technologies
Basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi)
Ticketing systems and documentation
