Full Job Description

Knowledge of the following:

Key Responsibilities

Software Developer / Desktop Support Level 2

Respond to and resolve Level-1 and Level-2 support requests related to hardware, software, and network systems.
Support and maintain endpoints, peripherals, and internal systems—including VMware ESXi environments and Acronis Cloud Backup solutions.
Diagnose and resolve issues related to Urban machine interfaces, including connectivity, software updates, and integration with production systems.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure uptime, data integrity, and efficient system usage.
Document recurring issues and contribute to the internal knowledge base.

Development & Automation

Support the development and maintenance of internal tools (AW-CANTOR) and utilities using scripting and programming languages.
Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries and reports to support data-driven decisions.
knowledge on creating and processing Crystal Reports.
Collaborate with development teams using GitHub for version control and project management.
Automate workflows and processes to enhance team productivity and reduce manual tasks.

Process Improvement & Collaboration

Participate in identifying, testing, and deploying technical solutions that improve system performance or end-user experience.
Work with system admins and development staff to ensure that infrastructure and code meet operational needs.
Assist in training users and writing documentation for custom applications and systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong understanding of computer hardware, Windows OS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Hands-on experience with:
VMware ESXi administration and troubleshooting.
SQL scripting, report generation, and data analysis
Contribute to NetSuite development efforts through SuiteScript, saved searches, and workflow automation.
Acronis Cloud Backup configuration and recovery.
Interfaces of production machines such as Urban (welders, cleaners, etc.)..
GitHub (or similar version control systems) for code collaboration and issue tracking.
Proficient in scripting or programming languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, JavaScript).
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience (prefered).
Minimum 4 years of IT support, system administration, or development experience.

Work Conditions & Physical Requirements

Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), and use standard office equipment.
Occasional exposure to loud manufacturing environments or outdoor conditions.
Must be able to travel within the facility to support equipment on the production floor.
