Full Job Description

Dental Front Office Coordinator (Experienced)-

*Minimum of 3 full days per week required, but full time is PREFERRED!

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Front Office Coordinator with a strong understanding of dental insurance and the full scope of traditional front desk responsibilities.

Required Experience & Skills:
Thorough understanding of dental insurance plans, including PPOs, breakdowns, eligibility, pre-authorizations, and claim submission/follow-up Ability to explain insurance benefits clearly and confidently to patients
Scheduling patients efficiently to support provider productivity Managing phone calls with professionalism and excellent customer service
Collecting copays, deductibles, and patient balances Maintaining accurate patient records including medical clearances, record requests and financial accounts
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Team-oriented, dependable, and proactive

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a dental office front desk role Familiarity with Open Dental practice management software
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
