Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Project Architect to lead architectural projects across hospitality, private club, and lifestyle environments. This role is ideal for a highly capable, well-rounded architect who can take ownership of a project from concept through construction, with minimal reliance on layered project management. The focus is on strong design execution, technical leadership, and full project delivery within a collaborative studio environment.

This position is best suited for someone confident running projects end-to-end, balancing design intent, documentation, consultant coordination, and construction administration while maintaining high-quality standards and design integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Lead architectural projects from concept through construction completion
Develop and manage design direction, design development, and construction documentation
Coordinate directly clients, consultants, engineers, and internal team members
Prepare, review, and oversee architectural drawings, details, and specifications
Manage construction administration including RFIs, submittals, and site visits
Maintain project schedules, design intent, and overall delivery quality
Participate in client meetings and present design solutions when needed
Ensure coordination across disciplines and integration of consultant drawings
Apply strong knowledge of building systems, codes, and construction methods
Maintain consistency with firm standards and project goal

Qualifications:

Professional degree in Architecture (B. Arch or M. Arch)
8–10+ years of professional architectural experience
Licensure preferred, strongly encouraged
Proven ability to lead projects independently from start to finish
Strong experience in both design development and construction documentation
Solid understanding of construction administration processes
Deep knowledge of building codes, detailing, and building systems
Strong decision-making skills with the ability to work autonomously
Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational abilities

Technical Skills:

Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop)
Strong understanding of BIM coordination and documentation standards
Ability to synthesize and coordinate consultant drawings into cohesive sets
