About Us

Chicken N Pickle, the hottest new entertainment concept in town, is looking for a Unit Accountant. Our brand is that of a rambunctious, multi-generational family that works hard and plays even harder. Responsibilities

Process check requests and expense reports on a regular basis
Perform monthly reconciliations
Assist AP Specialist with data entry associated with accounts payable
Audit and process credit card bills
Address and respond to vendor inquiries
Perform daily journal entries to multiple general ledger accounts
Process Online Pickleball Refunds
Assist Unit Accountant II with monthly closing procedure including but not limited to, prepaid journal entries and expense write-ups.

Demonstrates and supports a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion

Key Qualifications….

High school diploma or associate degree in Accounting preferred.
1-2 years’ experience with accounts payable or general accounting
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge and skills
Strong time management and organizational skills
Knowledge of basic accounting principles
High degree of attention to detail
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Strong analytic abilities
Excellent self-accountability for high personal standards of conduct and professionalism
Ability to communicate effectively with guests, return guests, co-workers and management
Flexible in approach; can readily adapt to business and team needs and changes
Process oriented, highly organized, fast and accurate and able to work under pressure
Excellent interpersonal and people skills as well as verbal and written communication skills
Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new software programs
Ability to multi-task and problem-solve
Capable of managing multiple projects/programs simultaneously
Ability to work for and lean into a start-up mentality

This is a In-Person/Hybrid role with our North Kansas City home office location
