Full Job Description

Chiropractic/PT Full Cycle Biller supports the billing department by assisting with managing incoming and outgoing charges and payments while verifying and ensuring accuracy and completeness for a complete billing cycle.

Job Function:

Demonstrates the ability to understand the use of ICD-10, CPT, & HCPCS coding principles as well as payer guidelines. Assisting with managing incoming and outgoing charges and payments with accuracy.
Accounts Receivable both for Insurance and Patient.
Account review and reconciliation, as well as speaking to patients in a timely and professional manner.
Identifies and reports issues or errors, such as incomplete or missing records and documentation, ambiguous or non-specific documentation, or codes that do not conform to approved coding guidelines, or account reconciliation while utilizing professional communication and documentation skills.
Demonstrates the ability to self-report daily tasks and assignments as well as identify any billing trends that affect daily productivity.
Assist with claim rejections and account denials.
Other job functions, as assigned.

Education:

High School Diploma / GED Certification
Certified Billing or Coding is preferred

Experience:

Two years of Chiropractic/PT experience preferred.
Next Gen Office (NGO) and Advanced MD experience preferred
Experience in Pain Management and Anesthesia preferred.
Proficient in medical terminology and understanding of medical office procedures.
Strong knowledge of ICD-10, ICD-9, and DRG coding systems.
Familiarity with medical collections processes and procedures.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing practices.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients
