Full Job Description

We’re hiring remote solar sales representatives for a fast-growing residential solar sales team.

This is a 1099, commission-based sales role where you can work from home, control your schedule, and earn based on performance. The role is simple: speak with homeowners, understand their electric bill, explain whether solar may make sense for them, and help qualified homeowners move forward with a solar consultation.

This is a strong fit for someone who wants a real sales opportunity without commuting, office politics, or waiting months to get started.

Why This Role Is Different

Most sales jobs make you chase people who do not want to talk.

This role is built around a simple, high-demand market: homeowners are tired of rising electric bills, and many are actively looking for ways to lower their monthly cost. Your job is to help them understand their options clearly and professionally.

You do not need years of solar experience. We can train the right person if they are coachable, consistent, and comfortable talking to people.

What You’ll Do

You will:

Speak with homeowners about their electric bill and solar options
Qualify homeowners based on location, utility provider, home ownership, and electric usage
Set or complete solar consultations depending on your experience level
Follow up with interested homeowners
Use simple scripts, training, and CRM tools
Represent the opportunity professionally and honestly

What We’re Looking For

You may be a good fit if you:

Are comfortable talking to people on the phone
Want a remote sales role with high income potential
Are self-motivated and can work without being micromanaged
Can follow a proven script and process
Have a laptop, phone, and reliable internet
Are willing to learn quickly
Want to be paid based on results, not hours

Sales experience is helpful, but not required. Solar experience is a plus, but not required.

Compensation

This is a 1099 independent contractor role.

Expected earning potential: $60,000-$240,000+ per year

Top performers can earn more. Income depends on effort, consistency, sales ability, and deal volume. This is not a salaried position.
