Company Overview
P.O.P. Manufacturing is a Kenosha-based manufacturer of point-of-purchase displays and store fixtures, operating out of a 75,000 sq ft facility with in-house design, engineering, and production. We build for well-known consumer brands, handling everything from concept and prototyping to full production and fulfillment under one roof.

About the Role
We're looking for an experienced CNC Operator/Programmer to join our production team, working on our CNC router and machining center fleet — including our SCM Morbidelli 5-axis CNC and Kongsberg/Onsrud CNC routers. This role covers both running production jobs and programming/nesting new jobs using SWOOD and Maestro software. This is not an entry-level position — we need someone who can hit the ground running with minimal ramp-up time.

What You'll Do

Set up and operate CNC routers and machining centers for panel and sheet material processing
Program and nest parts using SWOOD and Maestro software
Read and interpret shop drawings, cut lists, and CAD files to prepare jobs for production
Work across a range of materials — wood, laminate, MDF, solid surface, acrylic, and more
Select and change tooling as needed for different materials and cuts
Perform quality checks on finished parts to ensure they meet specifications
Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues
Communicate with production team to keep jobs moving efficiently

What We're Looking For

Proven experience operating and programming a CNC router or machining center is required — this role is not eligible for training from scratch
Hands-on experience with CAM/nesting software required; familiarity with SWOOD or Maestro specifically is a strong plus
Demonstrated ability to read technical drawings and cut lists, and translate them into programmed jobs independently
Strong attention to detail and quality-mindedness
Comfortable working with power tools and shop equipment
Reliable, safety-conscious, and a team player
Spanish language skills a plus
