Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team in providing exceptional food service within our healthcare facility. The Dietary Aide will play a vital role in supporting the dietary department by assisting with food preparation, ensuring food safety, and delivering meals to patients. This position requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and nutrition while working collaboratively with kitchen staff and healthcare professionals.

Duties

Help maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and dining areas.
Support the culinary team
Deliver meals to patients in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to dietary restrictions.
Participate in inventory management by assisting with stock rotation and reporting shortages or issues to supervisors.
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure that all dietary needs are met effectively.
Follow all facility policies and procedures related to food service and safety.

Requirements

Previous experience in dietetics, food preparation, or culinary arts is preferred but not required.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, and other departments.
A caring attitude towards patients and a commitment to providing high-quality service.
Ability to work as part of a team within the dietary department while also being self-motivated.
