Full Job Description

Psychologist - 1099 Contractor

Still Waters Professional Counseling is actively seeking a licensed Psychologist in the state of Georgia to join our team as an independent contractor (1099). This position offers an opportunity to work with diverse client populations, specifically Medicaid and DFCS-referred clients.

Organizational Background

Still Waters Professional Counseling Services in Augusta, GA, provides in-home and in-office mental health services for children, adolescents, and adults. Our mission is to provide the highest quality of mental health services to individuals and families in need of counseling, crisis intervention, and prevention in the most appropriate, educational, and accessible manner. Our agency services counties in the CSRA and the Greater Macon area.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments and psychological testing.
Develop and communicate individualized treatment plans and assessment reports.
Collaborate with counselors and care teams to support client progress.
Complete documentation within 72 hours of providing services

Requirements:

Current and active Psychologist license in the state of Georgia.
Ability to work with Medicaid and DFCS clients.
Professional liability insurance and a copy of workers' compensation insurance.
Prior experience in psychological testing and assessments preferred.
Maintain confidentiality of records relating to client’s treatment
Completion of various DFCS trainings and and current CPR/ First Aid/ AED certification
