Full Job Description

The “Hospitality Support Team” includes the host, food runner/drink runner, barista, and busser roles. Hospitality Support Team members will enhance the guest experience by supporting the front of house servers to make and deliver drinks, deliver food, accommodate guests coming in, clear tables, keep the dining area clean and organized, etc.

We do this by maintaining our standard of excellence, providing a warm and family-friendly atmosphere, and serving a wide variety of food. As part of our team, you will be integral in our goal. When asked “Where should we go to eat?” We want Egg Harbor to be the first and unanimous answer. You are integral in us achieving this goal. You will work as part of a team, having new and inspiring interactions with guests and team members alike daily. All this leading to both you and our customers leaving Egg Harbor every day feeling fulfilled, accomplished, and excited to return tomorrow.

Shifts start and end early, so you’ll never work at night. Scheduling is generally flexible if you understand that our busiest days are on the weekends and holidays. We are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

If you are someone who enjoys working in a team-oriented environment, is responsible, trustworthy, prompt, reliable, and self-motivated, then you would be a great fit for the Egg Harbor Café Team. To do well at Egg Harbor Café, you would be someone who has a positive attitude, is flexible, energetic, dedicated to achieving goals, energized in the morning, genuinely enjoys being around people, motivated to learn and grow, honest, and has great work ethic.

Bussers enhance the experience for our guests by creating a comfortable, clean, and organized atmosphere. They work magic with a sense of urgency to clear and clean tables as fast as possible to get each guest in quickly, allowing them to fully enjoy the dining experience.

In addition, our bussers:

Keep floors swept or vacuumed and free from debris.
Assist in clearing plates, glassware, and silverware from guests when they are finished.
Assist servers in retrieving items for guests when needed.
Restock glassware and silverware.
Keep common areas (including lobby and restrooms) clean and tidy.
Communicate with staff at the front when tables are clean and ready to be seated.
Can work and communicate with other team members towards a common goal of our guest having the best experience possible.
Support other tasks as needed (i.e., organizing and bagging to-go orders)
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Perform opening/closing and on shift side work and maintenance properly.

Please Note: Candidates selected for this position will be required to obtain a Georgia Alcohol Server & Seller Certification prior to or within a designated timeframe following their start date.
