We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and ensure the smooth operation of our food service establishment. This role is vital in maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction while fostering a positive and efficient work environment. The Kitchen Manager will oversee daily kitchen activities, manage staff, control inventory, and uphold all food safety regulations. Duties- May include, but are not limited to:

Supervise all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to build a motivated and skilled culinary team.
Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and minimizing waste through effective food management.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation regulations by implementing proper handling procedures and conducting regular inspections.
Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
Lead shift management activities, including coordinating staff during busy hours and resolving operational issues promptly.
Conduct staff interviews and performance evaluations to foster professional growth and maintain high team morale.

Skills

Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within casual dining or fine dining environments.
Proficiency with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
Strong background in inventory control, food safety management, and food handling procedures.
Proven leadership skills in supervising teams, managing hospitality teams, and training staff on culinary practices.
Excellent communication skills for managerial tasks such as interviewing, staff training, and customer service interactions.
Ability to analyze profit and loss statements to optimize restaurant performance through budgeting and cost control measures.
Experience with catering, banquet services, or bar operations is a plus for versatile restaurant management.
