About the Role
The Project Manager III leads the planning, execution, and delivery of complex client engagement solutions that leverage GoMo Health's BehavioralRx® methodology to drive meaningful behavior change and improve health outcomes.
This role serves as a strategic partner to clients and internal stakeholders, overseeing projects from discovery and requirements gathering through implementation, launch, and ongoing optimization. The Project Manager III is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with both client objectives and GoMo Health's engagement strategies.
Working independently and collaboratively across departments, this role manages multiple concurrent projects, facilitates cross-functional alignment, identifies and mitigates risks, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance client success and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
The employee is expected to:
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Lead multiple client implementations and engagement programs from initiation through completion.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, resource allocations, and deliverables.
- Manage project scope, priorities, dependencies, and change requests while maintaining alignment with business objectives.
- Facilitate project meetings, establish action plans, and ensure accountability for project outcomes.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address barriers to successful execution.
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and meet established quality standards.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and provide consultative guidance regarding engagement strategies and program execution.
- Lead requirements gathering sessions and translate business needs into actionable project plans and functional requirements.
- Communicate project status, risks, recommendations, and key milestones to clients and internal leadership.
- Manage client expectations while balancing organizational priorities and resource constraints.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate efforts across Client Services, Product, Engineering, Content, Data Analytics, and Operations teams.
- Facilitate collaboration among stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Support prioritization discussions and resource planning activities to ensure successful project execution.
- Partner with internal teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Risk Management & Problem Solving
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and potential roadblocks early in the project lifecycle.
- Develop mitigation plans and drive resolution of project challenges.
- Escalate critical issues appropriately while recommending solutions and alternatives.
- Utilize data, project metrics, and stakeholder feedback to support informed decision-making.
Quality, Optimization & Continuous Improvement
- Oversee user acceptance testing and quality assurance activities to ensure successful program launches.
- Analyze program performance and engagement metrics to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Recommend enhancements that improve participant engagement, client satisfaction, and program outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of project management processes, standards, and best practices.
- Share knowledge and provide guidance to junior team members as appropriate.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 2-4 years of project management, client services, healthcare technology, digital health, SaaS, or related experience.
- Demonstrated success managing complex, client-facing projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct supervisory authority.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- PMP, CAPM, Agile, Scrum, or other project management certification preferred.
- Experience in healthcare, patient engagement, behavior change, population health, or digital health solutions preferred.
Work Expectations
- Standard working hours are 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (EST), unless otherwise directed.
- Available for onscreen video for all internal and external meetings.
- Active participation in video meetings for client and internal interactions.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Occasional flexibility in working hours to support client needs and project milestones.

Physical Demand
- Physical demands for GoMo Health positions may include being sedentary for long periods of time. Entering text or data into a computer by means of a traditional keyboard is also a requirement.

While our company is headquartered in Asbury Park, New Jersey, remote candidates throughout the US will be considered. Candidates must be willing to visit the NJ location/clients for project and corporate meetings as appropriate and requested, and be camera-ready for all virtual meetings.
