Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and dedicated Foreign Doctors of Medicine to participate in our comprehensive Healthcare Internship program. This paid internship offers an invaluable opportunity for international medical graduates to gain hands-on clinical experience within a dynamic healthcare environment. The role involves supporting patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and enhancing medical skills across various specialties. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong foundation in medical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to professional growth in a global healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

Assist healthcare professionals in conducting patient assessments, physical examinations, and documenting medical histories with precision and professionalism.
Support clinical procedures across multiple specialties including cardiology, neurology, pediatrics, psychiatry, and emergency medicine, adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as eClinicalworks to accurately input patient data, update medical records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Participate in diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical imaging tools like CT scans or radiography, contributing to accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Engage in clinical research activities, data collection, and analysis to support ongoing studies and quality improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with team members on discharge planning, patient education, and follow-up care to promote optimal health outcomes.
Demonstrate proficiency in basic life support (BLS), airway management, IV infusion procedures, wound care, and other essential clinical skills.
Maintain strict adherence to infection control standards and hospital protocols while supporting inpatient and outpatient services across various departments.
Contribute to patient service excellence by providing compassionate care, addressing patient needs, and ensuring a positive healthcare experience for diverse populations.

Experience

Medical degree from an accredited institution with eligibility for medical licensure or registration in the respective country of origin.
Prior clinical experience or internships in hospital settings or outpatient clinics is highly desirable.
Familiarity with hospital environments including ICU (Intensive Care Unit), PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit), or Level I/II trauma centers is advantageous.
Exposure to specialized fields such as endocrinology, obstetrics/gynecology (Ob/Gyn), or pediatric critical care enhances candidacy.
Experience working with electronic health records (EHR) systems or similar platforms is preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD coding, and diagnostic radiology procedures is beneficial.
