Job Summary

Blue Marine Seafood Inc. is seeking a Base Pay and Commission-based Sales Representative with the opportunity to transition into a full-time salaried position with base pay and performance-based commission. We are a premium seafood importer and logistics provider working with sushi restaurants, supermarkets, and distributors across Southern California.

We highly encourage applicants with:

Japanese, Korean and/or Chinese language proficiency
Sushi chef or server experience

Responsibilities

Prospect and close new B2B accounts (sushi restaurants, Japanese grocery chains, distributors, etc.)
Maintain and grow existing customer relationships
Track your pipeline and revenue activity via CRM
Communicate with Japanese, Korean and/or Chinese-speaking clients (preferred but not required)
Coordinate with logistics, operations, and customer service teams to ensure timely fulfillment
Provide market intelligence on seafood pricing and trends to inform deals

Preferred Qualifications

1+ years of experience in seafood, foodservice, or perishable-goods sales
Fluency or working proficiency in Japanese, Korean and/or Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese)
Experience in the sushi or restaurant industry (chef/server/manager)
Strong sales skills: closing, follow-up, and negotiation
Valid driver’s license and ability to visit clients and our Vernon facility
Familiarity with CRM systems and Google Workspace/Microsoft Office
