What you would do

Typical responsibilities could include:

Developing and executing validation test plans and protocols for mechanical, electrical, and controls systems
Designing test scenarios and acceptance criteria based on design specifications and regulatory requirements
Performing hands-on testing, data collection, and analysis to verify system performance
Documenting test results, deviations, and corrective actions within a quality management system (QMS)
Supporting design verification and validation activities throughout the product development lifecycle
Collaborating with design, manufacturing, and quality engineering teams to resolve technical issues
Maintaining detailed records and traceability documentation to support regulatory compliance
Applying CAD tools and testing protocols to validate designs and manufacturing processes

What you could bring

Most roles of this type require the following:

Must-have

2–5 years of experience in validation, testing, quality assurance, or related engineering discipline
Demonstrated experience with validation protocols, test design, and acceptance criteria
Working knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and regulatory standards
Proficiency with CAD software and standard testing equipment
Strong technical documentation and communication skills
Authorization to work in the United States
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or equivalent field experience

Nice-to-have

ISTQB Certified Tester or ISTQB Advanced Tester certification
Manufacturing or field application testing experience
Experience with design controls and FDA or ISO regulatory frameworks
Familiarity with statistical analysis and data visualization tools
