Full Job Description

Kaman’s Art Shoppes is hiring for Face Painting and Henna inside the Nashville Zoo. We are seeking enthusiastic, outgoing, and hardworking individuals who can bring their unique character to our team!

Pay starts at $14.00/hr with opportunities for additional commission.

With Flat Rate Commission our artists can earn over $17.00 per hour at this location!

We also offer an online tip and compliment program!

Competitive wages and Flexible schedule!

Are you passionate about making kids smile, love making art, and enjoy showcasing your talents? If you answered YES then this is the job for you! No experience is needed, we’ll train you! All you need to apply is an outgoing personality, some basic art skills, and a friendly rapport with kids and adults alike. All training is paid.

Job responsibilities will include painting faces and applying henna designs, handling cash and credit transactions, and providing excellent customer service.

Face Painter:

You will Create:

Show off your skills by creating live Face Paints directly on faces!
Master standard designs
Create unique custom designs
Fun Customer experiences

Henna Artist:

You will learn:

Free-hand line techniques and repeated patterns to create intricate designs
Salesmanship techniques and how to price artwork
Communication and customer service skills

Kaman's Art Shoppes is the country's leading Art and Photography Concessionaire and we operate in amusement parks and zoos throughout the U.S.

Part-time positions are available. Must be able to work in an outdoor environment and be available for some night and weekend shifts. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
