- Salary + Uncapped Commission. Base salary $24,000 with average commission from $51,000 - $150,000+.

The Opportunity
We are looking for a driven, relationship-first Territory Manager to join our sales team. This is a role with real earning potential, a well-established customer base, and the backing of a company that has been a trusted name in the material handling equipment industry for over 70 years.
You will manage and grow a defined portfolio of rental and sales accounts while actively developing new business across industrial, construction, and commercial customer segments. You will have access to a broad product line from industry-leading equipment manufacturers, strong internal support from our service and rental teams, and the tools and resources to succeed — including Salesforce CRM.
This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who is energized by being in the field, building lasting customer relationships, and delivering solutions that genuinely help their clients operate more efficiently.

What You Will Do
- Manage and grow an existing portfolio of rental and sales accounts in the industrial, construction, and material handling industries
- Develop new customer relationships within your assigned Chicago-area territory
- Promote and demonstrate a broad portfolio of material handling and aerial equipment including forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and telehandlers from industry-leading manufacturers
- Provide tailored equipment solutions that address customer needs and maximize their productivity
- Collaborate with our service, rental, and support teams to prepare accurate quotes and proposals
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, customer interactions, and sales activity in Salesforce
- Travel within your assigned territory to meet with clients, conduct product demonstrations, and attend industry events

Qualifications
- 3–5 years of B2B outside sales experience; industrial or construction equipment background is a plus
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Experience with CRM systems; Salesforce experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook
- Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking ability
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance required
