Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an Office Manager/Bookkeeper to join our team. This vital role combines administrative leadership with financial oversight, ensuring our office runs smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and possess excellent communication skills. You will manage daily office operations, handle light bookkeeping duties, and serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors.

Duties

Oversee daily office operations, including phone system, document scanning, document filing
Manage calendar schedules, appointments, and meetings for staff and clients with strong organizational skills
Perform data entry tasks with precision, including updating spreadsheets and maintaining filing systems
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting visitors, answering inquiries via phone or email, and supporting client communication efforts
Print checks and receive payments using QuickBooks
Utilize TaxDome project management software - easy to use and training is provided

Qualifications

Proven experience in office management or administrative roles
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with strong computer literacy skills. Proficiency in QuickBooks is a plus.
Strong organizational skills; Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage time effectively while prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines

Schedule

40 hours per week in-office January - April. Optional Fridays May - December.
