Location: Mankato, MN (In-Office)

Compensation: Base Salary + Uncapped Commission | Expected Year 1: $60,000 - $80,000+ | Expected Year 2+: $90,000 - $110,000+

We run a fast-paced, high-volume State Farm agency in Mankato, and we are built to win. We don’t sit around waiting for the phones to ring, and we don’t do "comfort zones." We provide the systems, the training, and the competitive environment—you bring the engine. If you are looking for a cozy, 9-to-5 desk job where you can blend into the background and coast on a base salary, do not apply to this job. We have tens of thousands of leads in our CRM and you have full access to every household in our book of business. Unlike many other insurance/financial services roles, you are not stuck hounding your friends and family for their business. You will never run out of people to talk to. You will receive the best possible proven training in this industry and the rest is up to you.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a hunter. You don't need a decades-long background in insurance, but you do need a proven track record of winning, a high emotional IQ, and absolute resilience. We love hiring former athletes, military veterans, and relentless outbound salespeople because they understand what it takes to perform under pressure.

The Role: Expectation vs. Reality

The Grind: This is a high-tempo, outbound prospecting role. You will be expected to make 150-200 outbound touches per day (calls, texts, emails) to warm leads, lost policies, and local prospects.

The Rejection: You will hear "no" multiple times a day. If a blunt rejection or a hung-up phone ruins your afternoon, you will not survive here.

The Payoff: If you view "no" as just a box to check on the way to a "yes," you will thrive. Our commission structure is completely uncapped and heavily rewards high volume and multi-line closing.

Core Responsibilities

Actively hunt and close Life, Home, Auto, and Commercial/Farm insurance policies.

Build rapport quickly over the phone and pivot objections seamlessly.

Run a disciplined daily pipeline, following up with prospects with extreme urgency.

Exceed monthly production goals—not just meet them.

Requirements & "Deal Breakers"

The Mindset: Competitive, coachable, and driven by a deep hatred of losing.

Licensing: Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life & Health (L&H) licenses are preferred, but not required to apply. If you are unlicensed but have the raw sales drive, you must be willing to study for and pass your MN licensing exams within 30 days of hire. This is company-paid .

Communication: Exceptional phone presence and the ability to command a conversation.
