Independent Contractor | Long-Term Growth Opportunity

Help Build the Next Chapter of Sungrown in New Jersey

Sungrown is one of Washington State's leading cannabis companies, and we're bringing that experience to New Jersey.

We're looking for an entrepreneurial sales professional who wants more than just another territory. This is an opportunity to help build a growing market, work directly with company leadership, and play a meaningful role in expanding one of the industry's most respected cannabis companies.

We've already established recurring business with respected New Jersey retailers including The Social Leaf, Queen City Remedies, Blulight, and other licensed dispensaries. We have products on shelves, proven marketing support, and growing momentum throughout the state. Now we're looking for the right person to help accelerate that growth.

Our New Jersey expansion is centered around Thrills ERASR, an innovative all-in-one vape platform that gives consumers a unique, customizable vaping experience. Backed by proven product development, marketing support, and an experienced leadership team, we're introducing something truly differentiated to the New Jersey market.

Unlike many expansion opportunities, you'll be joining a company with established customers, proven operational support, and a clear long-term vision for growth.

What You'll Do

As our New Jersey Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for growing both existing and new business throughout the state.

Responsibilities include:

Grow sales with existing retail partners
Prospect and open new licensed dispensary accounts
Build relationships with buyers, managers, and budtenders
Conduct product education and budtender training
Execute occasional vendor days, pop-ups, and promotional events
Identify competitive insights and new market opportunities
Maintain CRM activity and weekly reporting
Partner closely with our sales and marketing teams to execute growth initiatives

Who You Are

You're someone who enjoys building business.

You're proactive, organized, and comfortable working independently. You don't wait for opportunities, you create them.

Ideal candidates will have:

Cannabis sales experience in New Jersey
Existing relationships with dispensary buyers and managers
Excellent communication and organizational skills
A self-starter mentality with strong follow-through
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout New Jersey

Compensation

$6,667 monthly retainer (equivalent to an $80,000 annualized base)
2% commission on collected revenue
Existing recurring business plus uncapped earning potential through new account growth
Mileage and approved business expenses reimbursed
Initial three-month independent contractor agreement
Opportunity to transition into a longer-term partnership with expanded responsibilities and a long-term compensation plan based on mutual success

What Success Looks Like

We're looking for someone who understands how to build a retail sales network that delivers long-term value

Success includes:

Growing revenue with existing retail partners
Opening new dispensary accounts
Maintaining consistent sales activity and customer follow-up
Executing in-store education and promotional events
Representing the Sungrown brands with professionalism and integrity
Becoming a trusted partner to retailers across New Jersey
