As a Medical Advisor, you will serve as a trusted strategic thought partner to the founders and clinical leadership team, helping guide the evolution of our clinical model while contributing your expertise in women’s health, endocrinology, longevity, and emerging medical innovation.
Role Overview
The Medical Advisor provides strategic clinical guidance to Vyta’s leadership team but is not responsible for day-to-day medical oversight or regulatory supervision.
Instead, this role focuses on helping Vyta remain at the forefront of women’s health by advising on clinical strategy, reviewing emerging evidence, evaluating new treatment approaches, and contributing to long-term innovation.
This position is ideal for a respected physician who enjoys helping build innovative healthcare organizations while maintaining flexibility in their clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Clinical Advisory
- Provide strategic guidance on Vyta’s clinical philosophy and long-term care model
- Review proposed clinical protocols and offer recommendations based on current evidence
- Advise on emerging therapies in hormone optimization, longevity, regenerative medicine, and women’s health
- Provide input on new service lines and future clinical offerings
- Advise on Vyta’s long-term longevity strategy and the evolution of its precision medicine platform
- Evaluate emerging diagnostics, biomarkers, biological age assessment tools, and longevity technologies for clinical adoption
Clinical Innovation
- Help evaluate emerging research and technologies
- Participate in periodic clinical strategy sessions
- Provide perspective on controversial or rapidly evolving areas of medicine
- Support thoughtful innovation while maintaining patient safety
- Review emerging evidence related to peptides, regenerative medicine, mitochondrial health, muscle preservation, cognitive longevity, healthy aging, and precision prevention
- Help prioritize innovation based on scientific merit, patient outcomes, and long-term clinical value
Education & Thought Leadership
- Participate in occasional provider education sessions
- Contribute to webinars, podcasts, educational content, or speaking opportunities (optional)
- Help strengthen Vyta’s reputation as a leader in women’s midlife medicine
- Review educational materials for clinical accuracy when requested
- Help shape Vyta’s public voice as a leader in women’s longevity medicine through educational content and professional collaboration
- Contribute to the translation of emerging longevity science into practical, evidence-informed patient care
Growth & Strategy
- Advise founders on long-term clinical strategy
- Provide insight into industry trends
- Make introductions to potential collaborators, specialists, and strategic partners when appropriate
- Offer feedback on product development, memberships, and patient experience
Time Commitment
Typical monthly commitment includes:
- Monthly 60–90 minute advisory meeting
- Periodic review of clinical protocols or research
- Email availability for occasional strategic questions
- Optional participation in quarterly planning sessions
Expected commitment: 4–8 hours per month
Desired QualificationsClinical Expertise
- MD or DO in good standing
- Board certified in OB/GYN, Endocrinology, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Lifestyle Medicine, or another relevant specialty
- Minimum five years of clinical experience caring for women in perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause
- Demonstrated expertise in women’s midlife health, hormone optimization, metabolic health, preventive medicine, longevity medicine, or integrative medicine.
- Recognized clinical expertise through practice, research, teaching, or leadership within the field of women’s health
- Familiarity with current research in healthy aging, biological age measurement, muscle preservation, mitochondrial health, cognitive resilience, and precision longevity is highly desirable.
Thought Leadership (Preferred)
- Published author or contributing medical author
- Podcast host or frequent podcast guest
- Conference speaker or educator
- Active social media educator with a meaningful professional following
- Founder of a clinical education platform, membership community, or professional network
- Faculty appointments or leadership roles within relevant medical organizations
