Restaurant Team Member & Leadership Roles

Like a Grilled Chicken Wrap, a role at SONIC Drive-In is a savory blend of responsibilities, bringing together teamwork, service, and operational excellence into one dynamic environment!

Whether you are supporting day-to-day operations or helping lead the team, every position plays a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience.

What You’ll Do

Prepare and serve high-quality menu items with accuracy and care
Deliver friendly, fast, and courteous service to every guest
Support daily restaurant operations, including service, food quality, and cleanliness
Communicate effectively with team members and leadership
Stay proactive—anticipating needs and stepping in where support is needed
Lead or support team performance, motivation, and engagement (role dependent)
Maintain SONIC’s safety, sanitation, and operational standards
Assist with training, coaching, and development of team members (leadership roles)

What We’re Looking For

A positive, upbeat attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork mindset and willingness to help wherever needed
Effective communication, basic math, and reading skills
Eagerness to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility
Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing business needs

Additional Requirements

Ability to work flexible and varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Willingness to uphold SONIC’s appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards
Restaurant or retail experience preferred for leadership roles, but not required for entry-level positions
