CNA Skilled Nursing PRN

POSITION SUMMARY

Provide assistance and direction to residents with personal care needs and activities of daily living.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are normal for this position. This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

Assist residents with activities of daily living; notify Wellness Manager of any changes in resident needs or abilities
Follow all applicable Legacy community, state and federal rules and regulations
Answer resident calls for assistance
Takes and records resident vital signs
Assists with toileting of residents/patients
Assist residents to and from the dining room and activities
Serves and monitors residents during dining
Assists residents with light daily housekeeping and trash removal
Assist Lifestyles Coordinator with carrying out activities for residents

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Educational Requirements and Experience:

Nurse’s Aide Certification in active and in good standing in the state of Texas
Minimum of 6 months of CNA experience
