Healthcare Staffing Operations Specialist – Take Your Coordination Skills to the Next Level

Pay Rate: $19.50 Per Hour
Schedule: 40 hours/week between 4:30am–8:00pm & every other weekend
Assignment Length: Temp-to-Hire

Our client is actively hiring a Healthcare Staffing Operations Specialist in Bangor, Maine to support critical staffing functions in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This position pays $19.50 per hour and is temp-to-hire, offering strong long-term potential.

This is a high-impact, fast-paced role where your ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and communicate effectively directly supports patient care and operational success. Apply today!

Typical daily duties:

Accurately record and update staffing schedules, including call-outs, shift coverage, role changes, and new or termed employees
Support House Managers, including assisting with twice-daily patient flow meetings and documentation
Run reports and audits to identify and resolve scheduling discrepancies
Complete 4-week scheduling processes and maintain efficient workflows
Process time-off requests in alignment with hospital policies and union agreements

What we’re looking for:

Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of experience in scheduling, staffing coordination, or administrative support
Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a busy environment
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
