Full Job Description

Company Conformance Statement

In the performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees are expected to conform to the following:

Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.

Position Purpose:

The Maintenance Technician shall be responsible to assist in the maintenance and repair of the Company’s buildings and grounds.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Perform routine preventative maintenance on electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems to ensure that the Company’s properties operate efficiently.

· Assist with office renovation projects, to include Framing, Drywall, Electrical, Plumbing, Heating, Flooring, Painting.

· Perform plumbing maintenance, upgrades, and/or repairs. (Steam, Hot water baseboard, drains and supply lines)

· Perform electrical repairs. From low voltage, (cat 5, coax, camera) up to 440 three phase.

· Assist in the cleaning and repairing of building fixtures including lights, windows, doors, walls, gutters and drains.

· Grounds Maintenance including mowing, weed-eating, snow removal, mulching, driveway repairs, tree trimming and removal.

· Cleaning

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Knowledge of safe work behaviors.

· Experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting.

· Proficient with the tools of the job.

· Excellent interpersonal skills.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to operate mowers, weed eaters, plow trucks, snow blowers and other small equipment as needed.

Required Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Valid Driver’s License.

· Clear driving record.

· 4 years in associated field of work

Preferred Education and Experience:

Forklift training and/or certification.
Bucket truck and man-lift training and/or certification.
HVAC experience and/or certification.

Work Environment:

Warehouse, Office, and Outdoor Conditions.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift 50 pounds.

· Perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, standing.

· Work may be performed within extreme temperature ranges.

· Visual ability (uncorrected or corrected) to observe and detect signs of dangerous obstacles.

· Ability to erect and climb ladders and scaffolding.
