Job description Overview:We are seeking a dedicated Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care and support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have a passion for assisting with dementia care, activities of daily living (ADLs), and various aspects of caregiving within a retirement community
Responsibilities:- Assist in providing personalized care and support to residents, focusing on dementia care and memory care techniques.
- Aid in activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility assistance.
- Collaborate with the caregiving team to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents.
- Participate in aging issues counseling and recreational therapy activities.
- Support event planning and coordination for residents' engagement and social interactions.
Experience:- Prior experience in dementia care, memory care, or long-term care settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with aging issues counseling and recreational therapy practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide compassionate care to individuals in need.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week with rotating weekends and holidays
