There is nothing good about this company.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
This company don't pay does not pay any time over 40 hours even though you work over 40. They don't fill out their employees tax papers right screwing them up for tax time. Also they do not care about if they set their employees up with medical some employees who been their for multiple years still do not have. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The environment is very hard to deal with for alot of things. On one side working in the kitchen during dinner rush it is very busy because everything is unorganized and  all over the place. For the person working in certain areas if you run out of something you get blamed and yelled at because you didn't make enough. Then if you make to much of certain food and it goes to wasted that person gets yelled at again for making to much. Then there's the management during the dinner rush the general manager comes in the kitchen to see how things are going comes in and starts complaining and accusing some workers about the extra food saying they made it on purpose for themselves or if something has run out to complain about why it has run out. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Typical day for the night shift working dinner rush. Come in start your shift and you have to finish your prep for your area but if you are the only person in that area you have to make the orders and cannot do your prep. Then if it goes to dinner rush your making orders you got to keep going then if prep is not done and you run out of something you need to make it then go back to the orders. Once the dinner rush is over or started to slow down instead of starting the cleanup process some of the line workers sit down talk story, play in their phones or go outside this is also the sous chef sit down and talking story. This makes the night longer and for the people who clean up and want to go home got to wait for the ones who are taking their time.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Amazing staff, management, friendly, guidance, monthly meetings, budget areas. Everyone can work on cleanliness laughs, smiles met some great people, regulars, friends, busy, still friends with all the management team San Lorenzo Brentwood.:)

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Keep calm, cool, and collective and always ask for help instead of trying to multitask numerous different positions at one time better to ask and have a breakdown

Fun, friends, family, great staff great food, middle class steakhouse

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Open to close prep for the morning get everything organized turn TVs on count my money inventory set up the bar set up the restaurant get my staff motivated for the day prep food make sure I’m fully stocked

Good people to work with. Great customer service and enjoy customer service. Always busy and working with customers to make their experience better.

It’s sometimes stressful when the restaurant is very busy but they have good food and the staff is nice and friendly.

The entire staff wants customers to experience an overall positive experience.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy and non stop because our main goal is for our customers to enjoy their time in eating the delicious food and drinks.

Not worth the gas money or management poor communication and just not enough money

Management and or lack thereof

if you’re new coming in good luck making money because people that have been there a long time know how to skirt the system

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
You come in at 3:00 PM you sit around or decide work until about six. You’re busy for one hour and then you start closing details but no one wants to cut you until 10 for the close of the restaurant.

Every other day there would be at least someone crying there. Many did not know how to leave their personal life at home. 

Manager always left early. No team work. everyone always crying about hours and when they had them they either didn't show up or had an attitude. 

The hardest part of the job was seeing girls cry about any little thing and the manager not doing anything about it. It's like he was there for the paycheck. 

Best thing were the tips. 

If you dont have any experience you can start to work there.They dont need any qualifications.When i work there they changed 3 host in 5 months.If manager like you ( you need to flatter all the time to managers because they love it dont say the true never ever)you can stay for a long time you dont need to work. Just make them fell very important to this world.its enough.They like to talk behind people, guest, new employee, old employee. They re not professional.Manager mind is if we dont like employee we will figure out any reason to give up because we never fire anybody.So everybody have to adore them.Its funny.They definetly need harrasment training.

Upper management in Corporate are great people to work for.

It’s honestly the guests. The complain and get discounts or free dinner mentality.

Black Angus corporate really takes care of both employees and guests. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Mentally, it is taxing. But knowing that upper management is worth working for makes it harder to try something different.

They take care of you , always did and currently do .  I’ve never had an issue with the company in 7 years

Not enough coverage for management positions

I was the floor manager for the restaurant for one month before the new owner didn't hold true to the requirements on his end and left thirteen employees high and dry! I handled floor planning, ordering for the dishes, waitress stations and bar! Hosted 50+ people banquets and fulfilled the duties that I was responsible for completing.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Management is supportive. TEAM WORK
is encouraged. Compensation is competitive.

The lack of qualified employees to run the operation.

Encouraged to think like you own the restaurant you are working at. Drive sales is key to success.

Lots of things to do. Changeling to complete tasks.
