Doesn’t give the work/life balance they claim. If you want off whether you are sick, have appts or need a break then you have to make that time up. Way too much work load for one person. You have about 300 pts a month. You’ll be working on one pt documentation then you have another pt calling and another nurse asking if your available to talk to another pt. It’s none stop like that all day. They talk about “team work” but they lack it. Some nurses are helpful if your busy on the phone with your pt and they will go ahead and take the call and speak to the pt and complete their chart then other (more than not) will be down right lazy and not do anything but tell you who called. Pts can be down right hateful and not even know why you are calling. You don’t have the same pts each month like they claim which is very frustrating to the pt and it prevents that relationship between the nurse and pts. You act as a nurse and social worker which can be way too much overload. Because of the work load you never get off on time. You call all 300 or so pt by mid month. Then you work on second calls for those who did not answer the first call. Or at least that’s what I was told when I started. But that is not the case. After you finish your workload of first calls they then want you to pick up someone else’s s slack. I get it “teamwork” but that puts you behind at the end of the month having to call alllll your second call pt which is usually over 150 pts. They only give about 2 days to call all those people or they are down your throat about production and your working longgggg hours to be able to make it though the list. No work/life balance AT ALL. The things you have to do for pts is ridiculous. It’s too much for one person. Pay is horrible. So things that would make the company better would be the same pts every month, let that nurse ONLY tend to their pt!!! Don’t put someone else’s  slack on someone else. Once those nurses finish their first and second calls then they can help where needed. Hire a social worker if that stuff needs done and leave the nursing to the nurses. Let the nurse call and check on them and if they need further assistance for things like meals on wheels, housing, etc then the can transfer the call to a social worker. That gives more pt care. And if someone has a doctor appt then they shouldn’t have to make that up. A doctor excuse should be enough like with any other job because that starts to interfere with family life having to make all that time up. You may be on the phone or finishing up on a chart that you can’t clear out because you’ll lose time and documentation if you click out so you have to ignore an incoming call. I have seen a manager write on the nurse group chat “I just watched a call bounce around to different lines for 8 minutes before anyone answered. What if it was an emergency?” Well Ma’am if you are so worried that it is an emergency and saw the call being ignored why didn’t you answer???? The nurse managers basically sit back watching you work your tail off bombarding you with a huge workload while they sit back with that rank making more money pointing fingers for you to do all the work while acting like they are so concerned about the pt care. If you were, you wouldn’t put such a load on your nurses. When I left they are getting more and more pts but it didn’t seem like the nurses were getting hired on for the incoming load. So guess who got it all… the current nurse. It’s too much. Be warned. Sometimes things are too goo to be true. 

Overall, I enjoyed my work at CareHarmony. Many of my coworkers were wonderful. It’s a really easy job so far as nursing goes. It’s basically chart review but because no one in upper management is clinical, that benefit to working here is limited to resume experience. The schedule is not flexible for most onsite employees. You can work in excess of a 40 hour week and still have to use PTO to receive a full paycheck if you are salary. The concentration is on tech and sales for upper management with clinical matters being of little importance unless the issue is escalated to upper management by a client organization. Clear communication is not prioritized or even acknowledged as a necessity for this growing startup. Promises of future opportunities are often used as enticements rather than actual gains. Individual EHR credentials are shared per upper management’s direction. The pay is acceptable, the benefits are lacking. Considerably less PTO than most places and it is accrued not front loaded, health insurance has poor coverage and is expensive, no 401K, no short or long term disability, no tuition reimbursement, no additional clinical training or CEUs offered, and keeping BLS current is at your own cost. I’ve only been with CareHarmony for 6 months, in that time I have learned what kind of company and what kind of leadership I do not want to work for first hand. If you do try it out be sure to use your PTO before you resign, I have over 60 hours of PTO accrued (ie earned) that I cannot use and will not be paid out because it’s policy

The typical day for me is waking up and changing from one set of pajamas to another set of pajamas. I get to spend all day in comfy clothes and house shoes. I spend most of my day on the phone, whether it be with patients, Dr's office, pharmacies, you name it. I have a panel of patient that are assigned to me every month that I am responsible for calling and checking in with. I have about 20-30 calls per day most days. I continue to learn new things every day in my position. Between my patients and their cool fun facts or the other nurses that I work with, I am ALWAYS learning something new. Which I love. Managment is wonderful and have been from the start. They answer all of your questions and never make you feel dumb for asking. The workplace is based around teamwork making the dream work- and this is the first nursing position I have ever had where I truly felt like a part of a team! The hardest part of this position is the time management aspect (because patients can keep you on the phone for extended periods of time with a lot of need) and the emotional toll of some of the patient stories. I talk to a lot of people on their worst day, so that can be tough. BUT, that is a part of nursing. Seeing people on their worst days and offering aid. I love getting to know my patients and hearing their stories. I have patients with rockstars for children, who have made cabinetry for the white house, and who have danced on Broadway.  It is so cool, and I love it! The longer I am here, the more my patients get to know me and come to expect my call every month. They definitely grow on you!! 

I really did enjoy working here at first but as time went by it honestly came down to numbers. They give you a panel of 200 + and first calls have to be completed in 2 wks. They hound you if you don't make enough calls and will call you in for meetings to go over your  "productivity" and they will talk to you all nice but at the same time make you feel like a you're not doing enough. What they don't realize is that some of these patients genuinely need assistance and calls take up 20-30 min or even more.  And you have to make sure you chart everything that was said on those calls which I am fine with but if you want me to take a call and also do a call log correctly you have to realize it's going to take close to 40 min to chart correctly. Then they want us to assist on incoming calls where the majority of the time it is patients that the Intake team or PES team have reached out to patients to enroll them into the program. So time consuming because the majority of the time these people do not want to give information about themselves because they think its a scam...I can't blame them. The majority of the providers office have no clue who we are. But that's another topic for another day. I honestly do believe if they got rid of incoming calls those panels would be completed in time and all the team members wouldn't be behind. I honestly did love working with the team I was with they are some great nurses but that is about it. 

This job is nothing but telemarketing. Training is two weeks where you quickly go over 100 plus PowerPoints then they throw you on the phone the 2nd week. Half the time, time the patient gets to you, they have no idea what they are signing up for.  This  places changes their rules as fast as race car drivers race their opponent.  You have to make sure you hit your numbers. You have to make sure you are saying the EXACT right things to a patient or you are done for. There is no escalation process if you are struggling, they will just fire you sight on scene. There’s no 1, 2, 3 , strikes your out. They will listen to every call that is recorded and will pick on you about the calls.  They want you to help the patient, but they don’t have the resources for you to do so. I never made a patient feel uncomfortable or upset. Management just want to cover their behinds so they don’t get fire. If you have little kids, please forget it. It’s wfh, but you need to be on that phone hourly with no background noise, or interruptions.   There are designated lunch times. Just nothing great about this place at all. I am glad to be gone….When I get off the phone and clock out for the day, I felt mentally exhausted as if I worked the floor all day.  Just not the work from home  I was expecting whatsoever, but gave it a chance.


You have been warned. Tread lightly.

When you begin a job to continue your career as a seasoned nurse and you are told that it’s quality over quantity. Training was 5 days. Thrown on a panel of 100 calls or more as a new employee. No true guidance. No real structure on how to approach the different populous of patients. Team meetings were just only to get calls done by the 21st of each month with a patient load of 300 or more calls. When interviewing for advancement opportunities denied because they way I viewed how the patient and staff should be treated. Criticized because of beliefs and too many changes. I was with the company for 2 years and no progress. Lies and disrespectful and setting up new employees for failure. The newer staff would cry and be discouraged. This bothered me deeply. As a nurse we stand to take care, and encourage and help patients. The patients had no idea and that it was a scam. All the different numbers to leave for a million clinics. Short staffed. Increasing patient load steadily without acknowledgment. Bating staff to take on more patients just to get top pay.  I am for qualify for staff and for patients. I learned great skills and built rapport with the patients i had. They will be missed. Do not apply for this Job. Work where you are appreciated, honored, better pay, and can advanced and complete quality care and train staff to be successful and give the upmost care to the patients.

Working at this company has been a frustrating and discouraging experience. There is a constant sense of instability, as the already low pay and job security are  threatened on a daily bases. Expectations are unclear and frequently change, with inconsistent feedback that makes it difficult to understand what success actually looks like.
Management tends to micromanage rather than support, which creates unnecessary pressure and limits autonomy. Despite promoting a positive work-life balance and flexibility, the reality does not match those claims. The workload and expectations make it difficult to maintain a healthy balance.
Overall, the environment often leaves employees feeling undervalued and unappreciated. If you're looking to explore a new role in your career, this may offer short-term experience—but it is not a place to expect long-term growth. Even when putting in your best effort, it can feel like it’s never enough, despite what you may be told.
Clear communication, consistent expectations, and genuine support for employees would greatly improve the workplace.

I have been with CareHarmony for two years now. I started as a Care Coordinator and worked my way into management. I have seen the culture shift since I first started, and we now have the right people in the right places! This is a rapidly-growing industry, and we’re changing the face of healthcare! 

They now offer more competitive wages, benefits, and bonuses, and this will continue to improve as we continue to grow. CareHarmony is about quality care for their patients first, and they also care about their employees. I have a great work/life balance, and I have flexibility, which is extremely important as a mom of 3! 

I’ve read the reviews about compensation, but those commenting that the pay is too low knew exactly what their starting pay would be when they accepted the position. If you’re coming on as an LPN, just know that you’re going to be busy. This isn’t a job where you can homeschool and keep your littles with you all day. However, the impact you can have on your patients if you’re willing to care for them is definitely rewarding! 

I like the people at CareHarmony. The managers are very approachable, understanding, and helpful. The coworkers communicate via Microsoft Teams since this is a remote position, and they are all very kind and helpful with a great sense of teamwork. It does require being on the phone with patients almost all day, every day, which can be taxing, draining. The pay is low, no matter how many years of nursing you have under your belt, and on top of that, the insurance is expensive which doesn’t leave you with much of a paycheck after working very hard for it. There is also no standard raises, some have had 1 raise in 4yrs. The PTO and sick time accrual is also very low each month, so takes time to build up, and if you have any unscheduled time off for life issues, you have to make up the time in the evenings and weekends. Working from home has it’s rewards, but it is not what one would think. It’s very busy and a lot is required from you. 

My time with Care harmony has been wonderful I have nothing bad to say about the company. They work with you and understand that life happens. I received nothing but genuine, positive feedback and energy  from the owner, management, and leads. I was not there long and became permanent. I can say hard work and dedication pays off and it will be appreciated by the company as a whole and the team. The patients that you come in contact with are the best part. Some make you laugh, cry, and make you feel like you are part of their family, it’s like meeting new people . The team that I was on, the manager and lead was awesome and was very understanding and very motivational to their team members under them . The overall experience there has been great and I have learned something new that I can take with me as I continue my journey.
