What is the best part of working at the company?
An employee can enjoy the company of their guests and fun co-workers talking  about a favorite water sport pastime  or current water sports interest.  There is an opportunity to learn with product training, and from fellow co-workers.  Great merchandise to purchase at a discount and plenty of steps to log  (exercise) while working!

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
It gets busy in the back of house (e-commerce) putting together orders and making sure they are correct and in the  right packaging.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Laid back but always ready to make a sale

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Always making merchandise presentable and pairing it with the right accessories.

Any retail job is a hassle, but this one is more enjoyable if you love scuba diving. The long hours you spend on your feet does take some time to get used to but they are very reasonable if you need a break for any reason. The manager was awesome, she was always very reasonable and communicated in a great manner and was always respectful and encouraging. The benefits were great! Discounts on scuba gear and bonus if you make the month (that's only for part-time) time and a half for holidays.

Consistent management. Flexible hours. Friendly staff. Competitive pay. All around great experience. You do sometimes have to travel out of town and have a couple long days to knock out the job but in all the money was great and co workers meshed well together.

I have been involved in the Scuba Industry since 2008 and was given the opportunity to become and Instructor to assist in training and mentoring new and existing students back in Pennsylvania. During relocation to South Florida I was approached by upper Management to become a member of the Divers Direct organization which is the largest Scuba Retail operation in the country.

Very family friendly workplace . I really found it very convenient that the employers were willing to work with me for maternity leave . Everything went smoothly and I was able to transition back to work with no problems . Also received the break times that I needed as a breast-feeding mother . Sometimes that can be a tough transition but they made it easy for me .

I thoroughly enjoyed my time with a Divers Direct. The company offers an excellent benefits package and gives you the tools/training to further your career within the company. This is corporation truly cares for their employees and goes above and beyond for them. 

At Diver's Direct, the job is very enjoyable. The customers are either diver's who are very relaxed and good to talk to or they are tourists looking for a quick swimming accessory. The store has a simple layout and it's easy to talk to/assist any customers. Management is laid-back but ensure that operations run smoothly. 

This was the best job I have ever had. I never was so happy in a job before. I am extremely upset to have lost it due to COVID-19, I really do hope I can return soon as this was seriously the best job I have ever had. The pay was great for myself, I loved what I did and everything was great until the store closure due to closures of non-essential businesses.

Working at Divers Direct was a great job. The business was totally dedicated to the Scuba Diving and Spearfishing Community, in addition to providing great services surrounding those sports.

Awesome company to work for. Very customer service orientated. And always made to feel like a family company. Always look to take care of the customer. Organizational gatherings to make us feel like a complete team.
