This place leaves you with high expectations to work here. Management acts like they are on your side as well as the other employees but they all like to talk about each other as soon as one leaves the room . The training is not all that great the people who train you get overwhelmed with what they need to finish that they don’t train properly or train you in their methods which sometimes gets you in trouble because that’s not really how things are supposed to be done. I got yelled at twice for not knowing something that I didn’t even have much experience on. They had me stare at my trainers screen for 8 hours for 2 whole weeks and the moment I tried to be on the computer and got it wrong I got yelled at by one of the managers. They expect you to know everything at entry level without hands on experience. They will cut your hours I would get sent home early because I would be going over my time and end up missing 5 to 6 hours to complete my full 80 hours just because they said I was over hours during the shift. I would not recommend anyone working here especially for all the locations that they make you drive to you waste time and gas getting to the other locations. 

This is a place that gives you a chance, even if you have no experience.   I was determined to work in the healthcare field but of course at hospitals or larger places, they pass you by because you don't have any experience.  When they offered me a job I was excited....they provided me the proper training to learn the computer systems, the medications and procedure terminology, I was encouraged to ask questions I did not understand and the doctors are fun, nice, and approachable.  Sometimes it does get frustrating because I do work hard while others don't seem to care that they work for a good place, they just want to sit and do nothing.  But I know the management notices because I was given a raise less than a year into it and I know others were given raises fairly often.  They value reliability, hard work, honesty, and doing a good job.  Patients seem very happy.  It is a great feeling when patients know your name and are happy to see you.  I would highly recommend this place

Starting off, this place only cares about your job and nothing about your outside life. Taking time off is super difficult. Management is not great. Lots of favoritism. Front desk is a mess and poorly trained. There is constant gossiping. Very little to almost no training, yet expect a lot. The turnover rate is very high. After 8 months, I was tired of the defeat and bad workplace environment. Put in my two weeks, and was offered a new position/pay raise to stay. Shortly, after one week management decided “this is not going to work out after all” and let me go. They take advantage of the good workers and tear down their spirit. No happiness in this place. I do not recommend as a place to work at or even be a patient at.

Tremendously high turnover rate. The company is understaffed in every department. There is at least one person that quits or is fired every week. Training is subpar. Management is less than adequate. Aggressive management style. Video camera surveillance at all times. Cell phone usage is not permitted, yet management is constantly taking personal calls and is even on social media during work hours. No amount of money is worth the stress from not only having too much work for too few employees, but from the constant scrutiny from management and upper management. Benefits are terrible, taking time off is difficult, and they will not pay your remaining PTO out when you leave, even if you give notice.

I have been working here for a little over 2 years and I am very satisfied with all the knowledge that I have gained while working here. I have learned several different roles and have been given plenty of opportunities to grow while I have been here. Hard work does not go unnoticed here and you are rewarded. I came in with no experience and I was given all the right tools to be successful and my advancement was based off of the amount of work I had learned, working here is very fair and equal opportunities are present. The work environment is amazing and the managers are very easy to talk to. If you are looking for somewhere to learn and grow this is the place for you.  

This is a very fast paced work environment, which is to be expected, but there is very little support from management to ensure that the business runs smoothly. There is no human resources team, which leads to no core values being demonstrated whatsoever in this business. Management is often rude and demeaning to the employees. The instructions to complete a task change often, without warning, in the middle of the day. The following week, it will change again. There is hardly anything to enjoy about working at this establishment. Proceed at your own risk.

A typical day at Greater Austin Pain Center is always different, collaborative centered around helping patients feel their best. I’ve never felt so welcomed and supported as a new hire. Management is communicative and always willing to help, and the workplace culture is friendly, patient‑focused, and team‑oriented. The hardest part of the job is keeping up with the fast pace, but the most enjoyable part is interacting with kind, hardworking peers who all want the same thing, a good patient experience and a happy workplace.

I was so nervous to start working here but immediately became so comfortable with my coworkers and have loved being in billing now and am excited to be here and a part of their team now. I didn't have much experience but they work with you on that and train you with employees that are super nice. They showed me little tips and tricks they picked up on over time and I have never felt more comfortable to start on my own. They are still always receptive to questions and learning opportunities.  

Honestly after working here for some time I understand why they push for new hires to leave reviews in your first week! Don’t do it! Toxic environment! There was a clear line for people who were favored in the office and if you weren’t in that group, then you knew it. Management was seriously a joke and did nothing to help you succeed or do better. They expected so much with giving so little help, encouragement, advice or anything beneficial. 

Working at Greater Austin Pain Center has been a great learning experience. Transitioning from my previous roles into pain management has provided me with new challenges every day, and I truly enjoy the opportunity to continue learning and growing professionally.

Like any workplace, there are occasional employee challenges, but overall I have had a positive experience. The staff has been welcoming and supportive, making me feel like part of the team from the beginning. I value the opportunity to work here and appreciate being part of an organization that encourages growth and continuous learning.
