IDR is a great place to start your career. I started with the company as an entry level recruiter and have had an excellent experience.

IDR promotes from within and many individuals receive 1-2 promotions in their first year. If you put in the work, you will be rewarded! IDR offers base + uncapped commission so while it takes some time to get ramped up, you can really set yourself up financially at a young age. Lastly the culture is awesome! Everyone is extremely collaborative, friendly, outgoing, and competitive. We support each other and love celebrating victories. It can be tough at times but having a great support system around you makes it easier to cope with the bad days.

How I personally feel about ETS-Lindgren would not be printable, but what I professionally did was make a lot of money for a company that didn't deserve it.
Working for the Owner/President was a delight.
Assignments, by subsequent inadequate supervisors, proved to be some of the worst experiences of my career (see Cons below).
Note: ETS-Lindgren, before 2004, was called Lindgren RF Enclosures, when it was by far a superior company to work for.

During the interview process, they preach great culture and highlights happy hours, socials, and outings that the team does quarterly to "bond," but working here was like I was back in high school. I did meet some great people through this job, but you're mistaken if you think they want you to grow. You get yelled at for taking lunches, they expect you to stare at your computer screen every moment you're there, and there is a LOT of turnover (for good reason.) 

This job is almost pure luck, working hard can get you far, but it can fall through the cracks just as easily from circumstances you can't control (but that's any staffing job.) 

Beware please. this company along with other company same area code calls get all information for hire then when it's time to start the job recruiter does not answer calls. day before starting after hire then I was told job was taken, 4:30 pm. 3 different companies for same job area codes 617. $20.00 is not the salary they states once they get all information.  3 different recruiters. Shame on them at times like this. 

Some days are great and you're on fire.... but when you have a frustrating day.... It seems like you're never going to have a good one again. They're unnecessarily tough on you for missing numbers and the PTO plan is HORRIBLE. The best part of the job is the people there. Without the friends I made there, this job would have been way more stressful than it already is.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
My typical days with IDR were productive.

IDR has provided me the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally. The organization has definitely figured out that if you invest in your employees they will do everything in their power to make the organization successful. Being an employee owned company has really created a group of employees who are extremely invested in the success of the company.

They will work with you to be prepared to give the best interview with the client. However, as far as representing your best interests, I was disappointed.  I was offered a contract extension with no pay increase and later found out other agencies were advertising for employment at the same company and position for $3.00 an hour more than I was making.

I would have really liked to continue with Internal Data Resources, LLC.; and still will, if the opportunity arises, soon.  I have never experienced another consulting company that actually cared about the people they had under contract, and shared so much of the fruits of the companies' success in the industry.
