I have been with IMA for 5 years now, and I have to say, this company truly focuses on employee satisfaction. They are dedicated to providing detailed information and help if you want to grow and learn something new. Our company culture is united, and we have a cool Teams channel where employees from all clinics and different departments can interact with one another.

The PTO policy is awesome; you get all your PTO fronted at the beginning of the year, allowing you to plan your year accordingly. They offer health, dental, and vision insurance, which have enabled me to obtain affordable glasses and dental work. My manager is flexible and always checks up on the team.

IMA regularly launches surveys to gather our opinions on various matters, and they actually listen to us and use our feedback to improve the work culture. No company is perfect, but IMA is engaging, fun, and united. I have friends and relatives working for other well-known companies, and they don’t have this type of connection with their team. I wouldn’t trade IMA for anything. This company provides a sense of peace, and I would always choose my happiness over anything.

Recently, the HR department took the time to visit each clinic and connect virtually with remote employees. Never in my career have I had the opportunity to meet, speak, and collaborate with an HR department like this. The benefits are great, and the 401k plan is awesome, with the company matching contributions based on a percentage. We also participate in many fun activities and friendly challenges together. Thank you, IMA Medical Group, for all you have done. I look forward to many more years with this company and seeing all the interesting events, changes, and developments along the way.

I have worked for this company for a few years and it is the most unprofessional place I ever worked at. Offices are always understaffed. The work load is ridiculous and they keep throwing more work at you. Not everyone gets the same pay. Some new hires are getting paid more than workers that have been there for more than 3 years. FOAs have to answer all the calls because God forbid a call gets rolled over to member services (the people who are supposed to answer calls), The leadership see the employees as robots, they don't care how over worked you are but will continue putting more work on the MAs and FOAs. Managers are always in meetings, meetings that repeat the same thing over and over but have no resolutions to the issues. There is alot of favoritism as well, people don't really get promoted. The company would rather hire from outside instead of looking at the employees there that have potential. Also, Don't bother in making a complaint because the retaliation is real. They will find anything to fire you. For new employees, the training is HORRIBLE! After training when you're thrown into the office, guaranteed you will be lost. Every office works differently and do as they please, so you will be "retrained". If you choose to work here, you will regret it within the month. Good luck 

The people are great, the providers and clinics are great, everyone you will work with will be great. However, if you excel at your job, good luck on advancement. It's not how much you bring to the table or how well you perform, but who you know in the higher chain of command. If you don't have these relationships, you will see others advance multiple times while you go nowhere. Very little to NO advancement in the company.  If you're involved in the sales aspect, expect many false promises and non agreed upon pay cuts that will leave you scrambling for two or three other jobs to provide the same level of what you once had. IMA loves to over compensate third party services, but not their employees. Think of a 10% to 10,000% difference.  The bosses are absolutely wonderful in every aspect, but they have no real power or say whatsoever in monetary compensation, including the chiefs themselves. Once you excel, they no longer care and will spit you out.  Great place to work at for one year tops until you start to financially suffer in your everyday life, causing undue stress and tension in yourself and home. Remember, this company is the lowest paying in the industry and for myself, I am motivated by compensation .  Make great connections and learn all you can and you will be ok once you find new employment with a competitor. 

You will basically work alone.  Your patient schedule is unpredictable.  You will have little or no support from management, but words. You will not have a formal review of your performance and management does not truly understand what your job requires.  You are there at their discretion. Decisions will be made about you without your input or any discussion and determined by gossip from those who either like or don't like you, not your actual job performance. Do not expect follow up. Do not expect anything special here.  The best part of this job is the people you meet and work with day to day.  You will rarely see management and when you do the office is tense.  This is a temporary place with the contract in mind, not you, not the veteran.  Your fellow peers are the best part of this job.  It's a job. That is all.

I have been working with IMA Medical Group since July. I have to say by far this has been the best job I have had. I recently moved from out of state prior to being hired with this company and as soon as I started I felt right at home. All of the staff throughout IMA has been a pleasure to work with. I have not had the opportunity to work with all the providers however the providers in my office specifically are great to the staff as well as the patients, they treat us all as family. My favorite aspect of IMA is our relationship with our patients. We treat our patients as if they are one of our family members which goes to show they truly care. I feel that every patient that walks through our door walks out extremely happy and reassured with their health conditions and any questions they may have had upon seeing the provider. I look forward to continuing my journey with IMA Medical and meeting new patients as we continue to grow as a company!

I worked here for about a year possibly more and i loved what i did , driving patients to there home and picking them up at there home to transport them to the clinic. Unfortunately there health plans are no good because with 15 dollars an hour you can barely afford the best plan they have. After a year the company gave me  a 30 to 35 cent raise which is nothing and i was told that this increase was generated by a computer. drivers are out there in the rain, in the heat transporting sick elderly people all day and that alone is a task as we try to look after there wellbeing and ours as well. You see other clinical staff getting bonuses and gifts while you as a driver get no more than a thank you. Drivers are really looked down in this company and i felt as if we were not valued enough for the work we do. I would not recommend this job to anyone with sense or with a family. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
For me is helping our elderly. Some of our patients don’t have family and are lonely. So when they come and share their life with you, is amazing how God works. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The add on. That’s the part I do not agreed on. I understand “TEAM” work, BUT with in. Get hired on a position and get paid base on that, once hired then they add on to your position. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Love the environment! The company does fun things not only for the patient, they also make it fun for the staff. Some staff like/Love it and some are there just for a check. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy on the phones. The staff must answer the phones no matter what your doing or your position.

Fun working place working with co workers enjoyed when a patient walked in all negative and was won by a positive atmosphere never a dull moment, heard great things from patient and some patient became like family, out of gratefulness some would bring gifts and baked items out of appreciation we smiled and let patient know we do everything out of love showed patients we cared.
some times it didn't go will when compared to another office, which already had patients, we started with no patients and soon office grew with a lot of patients in the area there was too many clinics to compete about in each corner and down the road, but out of patients mouths of how much care was put in by doctors and staff and having a Wellness center in the clinic, more patients stated to come.

My experience at IMA has been an exceptional one. From the recruitment process, structured training and the team. The positive work culture really starts from the top with the owners.  You are given all the tools you need to be successful and you are treated like as an asset. The leardership is approachable and available! The doctors are spectacular, our office Regional Manager, Medical Director, and Office Manager are extremely hands on and very involved in our day to day activities.  The office staff treats eachother as family and the patients are loved and really valued and placed first. The wellness center is phenomenal and patients are  welcomed with warm coffee and big smiles. It’s truly a great place to work.

IMA isn’t just a great place to work—it’s a family. Recently, I’ve heard from new hires that they notice how genuine this is; it’s not just something we say. We’re huggers, we care deeply about people, and they truly support us, starting with the CEO. Leadership here is strong yet human, and the work-life balance is the best part of my job.

There are opportunities to grow, make mistakes, and become better. The culture of excellence drives us to overcome the challenges of the industry. I deeply admire, value, and care about so many people here. The only thing that could improve is the maternity leave benefits.

I’ve been here for so many years, and many others have been with IMA for 5, 7, or even 10 years. It’s a place where you want to stay, where you truly feel you belong.
