The typical workday based off of how you essentially wanted to plan your schedule. Mainly, the typical workday was constant communication: email, teams messages, texts messages, phone calls or video meetings (or if in  the office face to face interaction). Working remotely, my day was easy going without distractions so I was able to set my own typical workday schedule. Meetings once a week for weekly touch-bases were essential in the daily workflow. I learned so much about the staffing industry, industry trends, laws, rules and regulations as well as what it is like to work as a team but from a remote location. Management was not really management. Management was very hands off; they do not step in and correct actions whatsoever (constructive criticism or any sort of crucial guidance is not in their methods)  nor did they  help to send you in the right direction when you ask for help. Management's vision of having a team under them is basically "sink or swim".  The culture that is portrayed upon starting: teamwork, adventure, family, fun, growth - does definitely show throughout the first three months, but things drastically change after a certain amount of time. Company outings were always a key opportunity to get to show the culture that they wanted to have but nothing changed afterwards. Hardest part of the job was trying to make sure that my every single move was recorded and done correctly: picture perfect. The most enjoyable part of the job was building relationships through just the phone alone, that will last a lifetime! 

As far as the lab work is concerned, each site was different and I had both very positive and very negative experiences.  Recruiters are commission-based, so are primarily concerned with placing candidates even if the assignment isn't a good fit.  There was an issue in my last contract that gave the incorrect location of my assignment, which was never addressed or resolved (I just ended up working at the facility they told me to go on my first day, which was fortunately still in the same city).  The employment contracts are pretty cut-and-paste, not a lot of specific details are provided, so be sure you have any questions answered or you might find yourself taken advantage of (such as not receiving holiday pay when working a holiday).  Communication could have been better.  Experience is not factored when calculating pay, so don't expect a raise ever, nor job security.  

Depending on the contract facility, a typical day at work could be satisfying or unbearable. Some of the more prominent institutions offer a wealth of knowledge and experience. There are management issues almost every where but some issues are more pressing at some facilities than others. Workplace culture closely correlates to the problems of the facility. Again, the hardest part of the job depends upon the facility that one is contracted to. The most enjoyable part of the job is when your recruiter and you are on the same page regarding your expectations, the hospital's and finalizing the contract. In other words, it is imperative that you can trust your recruiter to present all the facts.

What is the best part of working at the company?
High bill rates equals high pay. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Meeting time card deadlines and the resulting nagging, especially during COVID. Also having to resend timecards. Working with a computerized time card system would be better. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
They seem to party a lot. At least they post frequent pics of parties. Hard to look at when I’m busting my butt earning for them the money that supports the company. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Hard stressful lab work. Sometimes with short or interrupted breaks.

I LOVE LRS. I have worked there for a few months now and feel as though I made the best decision taking this position. My manager is extremely supportive and she does not micromanage at all. She allows me to build my desk independently, but steps in if she sees I'm struggling or need guidance. The room for development and growth is exponential! If you do your job and indicate you'd like to progress to an account manager, they will help you do so (as long as you're succeeding as a recruiter). The only downside is the commission structure. You have to hit a really high margin before you start seeing any commission paid out. 

My Recruiter was awesome also the supporting staff! Responded to me at anytime I needed them. My child was sick during time of my contract, causing me to have her and myself to require covid testing and quarantine. I was out of work for almost a week, never did this agency give me any issue. They also paid me a percentage of my pay, while on quarantine.  My manager and recruiter also checked on me and my daughter during the time I was out. 
This company is full of amazing people good reliable management. if there was more opportunities for me in a closer location I would've done another contract with them without a question.

During this time they can let you go for any reason and do not have to give their reason. Too many clients and not enough staff. Everyone is overworked and overwhelmed. DS is busy and Regional Manager is busy so if you’re new a lot of what you’re supposed to be learning or asking about how certain things are done aren’t going to be answered. It’s hard to build up time for leave if you constantly have Child support Court or drs spots. God forbid your children get sick and you have to stay home with them. You’re literally working for the state. They should set the bar for doing the best for their employees. 

I had thought I was being set up for a good first travel assignment (never traveled before). Turns out the facility i was set up in is full of nepotism and can call and text about something minor but not when it comes to your licensure. I have tried talking with management and seeing about transferring to another facility but with no avail I'm still staffed at the current one that is about to drown because not enough staff. Understandable that's everywhere but with 1 CNA to 40 residents overnight is unacceptable for higher acuity.

Not consistent enough if you are in need of hours

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
I feel you are on pins and needles when at the clients home, a few are prejudice. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very laid back,  easy going . Some of  the clients can  be pretty laid back and actually working with some of the can be very easy and the day goes fast.

Everyone I spoke with from my initial inquiry,  to my agent,  to the managers were amazing and made me feel like they wanted me to work with them.  Most places make you feel like you are the one begging for a job,  but with LRS, I feel so valued. They worked to find me the right job and housing. They check in often and want to make sure all of your questions are answered. It's very easy to get in touch and my calls, texts and emails are always returned promptly.
