Great company that strives to make life better for the people that they serve. The training program is very good and sets the employees up for success. Very good workplace culture and the organization has diversity.  Daily team building and meetings. The managers has an open door policy and is always available when called upon. The employers value and understand the willingness to work hard and allows the employees to ask questions to ensure accuracy. The management team enforce good time management skills as the staff does not want to waste time. The company offers a great base salary and a very good commission plan coupled with good healthcare benefits. The management team welcome new ideas and changes that might make the scope of the job better.

Quarterly reviews that shows your improvements and or weaknesses and discussed with upper management as this allows you to see errors and enforce growth. Client visits are mandated weekly as this is a really good way to grow the business. Several different tools to find qualified candidates and resumes. Protected geographic territories and zones.

PROS: Great benefits, optional 9/80 schedule, established business and name is known throughout the area, easy going people, high sense of urgency amongst all employees, great team-oriented environment, constant recognition, company culture is by far one of the best i've ever encountered, mileage/expense reimbursement, self-managed desk, no micro-managing, long interview process prior to hiring, open door policy, CEOs listens to the requests of employees throughout the company and implements change, consistent training refreshers, pet insurance

CONS: Long interview process (i went through 6 interviews), challenging quotas level (especially if you don't have a following in your book of business from previous recruiting), even more senior employees will have some level of difficulty meeting the call/interview/client visit KPIs, daily and weekly reports lead to management inquiring about your numbers constantly, a LOT of administrative work, a LOT of documentation, training was nearly two months and became a bit excessive especially when training for something you won't put into practice for a few weeks, doesn't observe some national holidays

They really care about your success. High sales oriented environment. If you like sales, you'll love this company. Really awesome people to work with. Good leadership. Great training. Great benefits (they have pet insurance!!), 9/80 work schedule and much more. In-office management also in charge of generating their own sales, made it hard for them to work with new employees. Very long hiring process to ensure they hired the right people and it was a good culture fit. One thing that was a turn off was the once weekly reciting of the company values and mission statement. It became excessive. Once every two weeks would suffice. Otherwise, they really give you autonomy.

Ledgent had an excellent location across from Westfield mall in La Jolla. Small work space offered 0 privacy for phone calls to candidates. High expectations re: calls out, placing candidates into jobs quickly. Encouraged potential temp employees to come into the firm to be tested and interviewed although there were no jobs available for them. Frustrating for people desperate for a job as recruiter would hype a candidate to call every day for any jobs available but there were none. Not good company policy leading people on just to "make your numbers." Sad but true.

A typical day starts with a morning meeting, then moves into sales calls and recruiting hours then another team meeting toward the end of the day. I believe I learned that I needed to take charge of my own business leads from the start. I was given some to start with which led me nowhere. My manager was unsupportive, discouraging and had no problem borderline embarrassing employees in front of others or via email. The hardest part of the job was not receiving encouragement or positive reinforcement. The most enjoyable part was working from home and talking to candidates and clients on the phone or on Zoom. 

Performed Account Follow Up and Resolution of Patients Accounts Receivable that are 61 days & older.
Submitted adjustment forms for patient accounts to reflect correct insurance payment, patient liability and contractual agreement.
Determined if an appeal was necessary in order to have claim reviewed for payment, due to level of care, medical necessity, no authorization or referral.
Updated the patient account records to show information requested for claims to process.
Established and maintained customer relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations.

A typical day at work involves collaborating on projects, learning new skills, and problem-solving. I believe I've learned the importance of teamwork, time management, and adaptability. Management fosters a supportive environment for growth, and the workplace culture values innovation and collaboration. The hardest part of the job may be navigating complex challenges, while the most enjoyable part is seeing the impact of our work and collaborating with talented colleagues.

I really enjoyed what bookkeeping in this temporary position. It keep me busy all day long with little supervision.

I learned to process bill of lading for international/domestic shipping, make sure sales order was consistent with our pricing. I learned to enter new employees onto our system for payroll and how to process commission for our sales dept.

What I liked least about this position was that there was no employee activities and therefore no fellowship with employees.

Lack of ethics and poor examples of leadership/teamwork highlighted working here. Although I didnt even last a year, I saw great examples of what not to do so I'm thankful for that. In all honesty if you dont last here it's actually a blessing in disguise bc only dishonest low character or flat out fake people remain long term. The high turnover let's you know what you need to. If you are ok with having unrealistic metrics and being encouraged to sell dreams than this is the perfect place for you to come work.

no team work at all.  each manager fills their orders with their own candidates, even if it means if this candidate isn't the best fit.
i learned that unless you are willing to change your morals and ethics, you won't be able to work here.  It's a disservice to your candidates and clients, but hush hush, don't say anything or else you will get scolded in front of everyone as if you are a 2 year old.
Hardest part of this job working with shady and immature people.
