I have had the opportunity to work with variety of Doctor's to include a Cardiologist, Internal Medicaine and Osteopathic Medicine.
I generally saw adult patients and geriatrics. My daily job performance included Assisiting Physician' s with pap smear, to educating patients in their health. on a day to day blood draw per venupuncture, this includes butterflies. Collect specimen and perform varies test by capillary sticks such as Blood glucose sugar, PT/INR pregnancy test and drug testing.

Continued booking , cancelling,rescheduleing and reconfirming patients visits. Billing ICD-9 AND cpt 10 Coding on procedures performed. Collect insurance information and patient demographic.

Check all patient's vitals as well all charting.

I greeting patients and families, addressing concerns and providing support. Resolving issues with insurance, and medical records.
Providing emotional support and advocacy for patients. Facilitating communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers.
 Addressing complaints and concerns, resolving issues promptly. Collaborating with social workers, case managers, and other support staff. Staying up-to-date with hospital policies, procedures, and regulations. Documenting patient interactions, concerns, and resolutions. Participating in service improvement initiatives to enhance patient experiences, like visit patients. 
The interaction with the elderly is what I enjoyed the most.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Providing exceptional customer service via inbound and outbound calls to patients, physicians, pharmacies and insurance providers. Interacting with fellow coworkers was a terrific aspect of this position.

There is no stressful part of working for this medical provider.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
This is a very supportive and collaborative environment.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Fielding inbound calls and making outbound follow up calls to patients and care givers.

While I aimed for excellence at medflorida, the disarray in management, particularly in the Haines City office, severely undermined the workplace environment. The evident lack of organization and the consistently unprofessional and mean-spirited behavior from Human resources painted a regrettable picture. My departure, enforced upon resignation, highlighted the concerning aspects of their leadership, which unfortunately overshadowed the positive contributions and collaborative spirit within the team.

This company will let employees go whenever they decide they need to cut staff, only to turn around and hire someone else later. It feels like the focus is on profits and is. Employees aren’t valued, raises are practically nonexistent, and there is very little opportunity for growth. Staff are expected to take on countless responsibilities without additional compensation or recognition. Overall, the company comes across as more concerned with making money than investing in its employees. Wouldn’t recommend to work for this company.

As an employee I feel like I am a very important asset to this company. My supervisor made sure I got the proper training also made sure I was comfortable and never made me feel pressured to learn a new system in such a short period of time. Unlike other Supervisors I’ve trained with. 
MedFlorida has all the great benefits one desire to have. Overall it’s been a family oriented workplace! I recommend working here if your looking to grow with a company. 

This job was very stressful. Management is confused half of the time and one manager will tell you one thing, another manager another. No one is ever on the same page. There is no room for growth because they don't promote from within. Be prepared for high expectations and no compensation. Policies made it hard to work when we are to provide patient care. Staff in the actual office was great and teamwork is definitely there.

Decent atmosphere, decent people to work it. 
Would remand this place to work. Reviews claims denied for payment and underpaid claims. Verifies payment information adjustments to administrator.
Performs audits and maintenance for but not limited to data fields, table relationships, reports and user profiles to ensure accuracy
Identify revenue cycle problems and implement solutions for improvement

During my work time in MedFlorida for the last 5 years has been an amazing opportunity for me to work and deal with great people and management giving me and others the opportunity to grow within the company. Unfortunately I had to relocate to the north east with my family but I can certainly come back and work again with them if life sends me again to the south. 

Horrible! That's all I can say truly! From corporate to  psl manager! No consistency, no communication from higher up and everything is a secret! Lifers are untouchable.  God forbid you have a voice of your own or challenge psl manager, oh lord be prepared to be wrongfully terminated.  Thank god I left when I did!
