My patients make my commute worth it everyday. I have made certain to make a connection with the families of the children that I care for. My doctor is amazing and answers all my questions and enjoys teaching me things. She wants me to excel in this field. My nursing manager is so understanding and is always available for any concerns about patients or my own personal life.My nursing director holds everyone to a high standard of excellent patient care and it makes it easy working with someone with the same vision as I have. The back office personal, for the most part, are very friendly and approachable for anything that I made need to facilitate care for a patient. The hardest part of the job is the commute because I miss my daughter, picking her up from school, doing her homework with her, and missing her gymnastic practices. There are a few immature and disrespectful co-workers, as with every job, that make it difficult to smile but I persevere. The most enjoyable part of the job is being depended on by the patients families and always giving them a since of security, knowing there children will get the best care that I can help facilitate.

Very "clickish" in administration areas. HIM, Billing, EHR, HR, if you aren't liked by these groups they will hang you out to dry without a thought. If they don't have anything on you, they will conjure it up, and band together to get you out. The most unqualified and unprofessional group of people that I've ever encountered. I wanted to be out of here by the new year. Still here only because I need the income. If I could resign today I would. Before applying talk to current staff if you can and get the real deal on this company. I would not recommend, not even for a starter, or volunteer job. Steer clear of this place.

Oakhurst is a very stressful place to work. It's not the actual job duties but the culture an environment of the people. No team players. You will be thrown under the bus, no one supports anyone. Everyone is out for themselves. Dog eat dog mentality. No appreciation for hard work. Upper management and HR are heartless. No compassion for the staff. You are rated on personal and not the quality of work, and good work ethics. Major decisions are based on who likes you. It's like walking on eggshells here. You never know when you will end up on that admin hit list, no job security, major anxiety. Definitely seeking something else, soon.

You go to work happy but come back feeling defeated. This place has a lot of potential, but the management style and lack of appreciation make it hard to stay motivated. There’s constant favoritism, poor communication, and you can get written up for almost anything. Employees leave all the time because the environment is stressful and there’s very little respect or support from leadership. Until management starts treating staff better, turnover will continue to be a major problem.

The organization could be a great one. However, you have people in management that lack management and leadership skills. The Medical Director is unempathetic and the CEO is non-.supportive and unavailable.HR and DON are a joke. No one listens to complaints or ideas! supportive

working with patients can get a bit hectic but for the most part everyone worked together. benefits and wages are quite decent. I learned a lot from my time at Oakhurst. you get to work in many different specialties within the same building so on any typical day I could go from Internal medicine to pediatrics to Ob/Gyn. I enjoyed the work. the management however was unorganized and unfriendly.

management sucks: as usual pt needs are more important....well....what about the employees you hire to take care of them??? they don't care so long as the profits rise. i just feel like we (as employees) are left to put up with what they didn't----which was the pt's. Our needs were never a concern and viewed as confrontational when taken to management.

other than that, i love the candler road/kensington staff!

Very stressful work environment. Very clickish in administration. Unfair employment practices. Management does not work as a team and does not offer support. Pay does not match the work duties. Hard work is not appreciated. Very immature organization.

I Loved this Job.
the doctors, staff, and patients made it wonderful.
I woke ever day at 6 a.m. happy and ready for my day.
there was the ability to travel between offices and to know and be known by name from all of my Doctors and peers. even being known by people that I had never met knew me by name. simply wonderful.

Upper management is a joke. Inexperienced people in high level positions. Work you hard with no appreciation. C level could care less about the rest of the employees, as long as their pockets are lined. Very stressful and hostile work environment. I would not recommend this place for service or employment.
