Metabolic Meals

I sent an unsolicited resume to Metabolic Meals because I wanted to work so badly for this company. Turns out my timing was perfect. The company was in the process of building an in-house creative team to expand its digital presence and revamp its website. MM is growing quickly, and it's exciting to be a part of it. 

MM has been around for over a decade, but it feels like a start up in a lot of ways. Some growing pains come up as we work to streamline new processes, but I like having a say in how things are done. There's more opportunity to have my voice heard here than at other place I've ever worked. I've made some important contributions in the short time I've been here. I also eat a lot better since we get free healthy food every day (you read that right -- I never have to bring or buy lunch).

My team is highly collaborative, everyone is approachable, and there are exciting new initiatives coming in the next few years. This is a company that truly believes in the quality of its food, the convenience of its service, and about helping its clients achieve their goals through better nutrition. I learn something new every day.

Tl;dr: A company mission that's incredibly noble, a small collaborative creative team, and free food :)

I have been with Metabolic Meals for almost 3 years now.  The company overall does a great job with providing a positive work culture.  With any operation, there will be the random employee that is miserable with life in general and will try and bring that to work.  The managers at MM are very well trained along with members of Human Resources to deal with the issues that may arise from an employee that has ill intentions.  The majority of us in the plant understand the importance of staying positive and working together as a team.  We do realize it is a great job with a lot of growth potential.   The health, dental, life, vision, short and long term disability, contribution to 401K, free food and gym provided by the company, are all great plus's too!

I've been fortunate enough to meet some very good people at MM of which several are my very good friends now.  Not only do I have great co-workers, but the owners of the company are very engaged and work very hard at continuing to grow the business.  

The promotions I have received while working at MM are very generous which proves my hard work has not gone unnoticed.  I am here for the long haul and look forward to my continued success with the company!

Metabolic Meals is an excellent place to work. The professional kitchen produces incredible meals with only the highest quality ingredients. This is seen first hand since the employees are able to consume the meals for free! The meals are packaged and boxed by a team of skilled, fast paced fulfillment specialists using state of the art equipment. The extremely competent management team keeps the company running like clockwork. Every employee's opinions and ideas can not only be heard, but are respected and greatly valued. Personally the part of my employment I most enjoy is being treated like a member of the Metabolic Meals family from day one. I also enjoy working for a company that is growing so quickly and doing my part to ensure that trend continues in the future! I love going to work everyday knowing that I am contributing to their success. I would highly recommend joining this team!

Love Metabolic and the people! I have made some of my closest friends from working here. The managers are very helpful and truly care about each and every employee's success. I receive fantastic benefits and can honestly say the company has the nicest and most caring owner's. I have worked here for over 3 years now and I do not intend on leaving anytime soon!

A HUGE plus is the tasty and free lunches we are provided with! They are also healthy for you which is just an added bonus!

I work in a room that is between 38 and 43 degrees but because of the warm attire provided, I am actually very warm from constantly moving!

I have been with MM for over 3 years and do not plan on leaving anytime soon. If you want to work for a company where your treated like family, join MM!! The owners are loving and caring. Not only are they in the facility everyday, but they go around and interact with all their employees. Looking for a company with GROWTH? Look no further. MM promotes from within the business. If you are a hard worker, it will not go unnoticed. They will give you the pay you deserve. I have had several raises and promotions within the 3 years of my employment. This company has been amazing to me in so many way. The owners are understanding when it comes to family matters and school schedules. I have never worked for a company who truly cares for their employees like MM does. They provide all employees with healthy food and a gym! MM is a blessing to my family and I.

This "job" doesn't feel like a job at all, it's one big family. The company gives you so many opportunities to learn new skills and move up in the company. The owners are very hands on and extremely friendly. Hard work does not go unnoticed here; everyone gets treated with the same amount of respect no matter their position in the company. One of the best things about this company is that you as an employee play a huge role in the company's success, no matter what position you are.  The managers make sure that every position knows its worth and contribution to the company.

Was here for over a year never got a raise and it took me a year to get a set schedule having to deal with  management that only cares about themselves and their paycheck you will only find a few good people working here who are nice and understanding they are extremely understaffed because people aren’t getting paid what they should or getting raises so a lot of people are quitting for higher paying less stressful jobs  but don’t worry the office has plenty of people who get paid salaries for talking on the phone and eating a good majority of the limited free lunches we have if you decide to work here it will be fun for about a month then you will get tired of all the stressful things  that happens on a weekly basis.

I've only worked here for a little over 4 months now and really enjoy the people I work with and the work I do. We are always working on new and interesting things. There is a close family feel. I've worked at much larger companies and felt like a super small fish in a big pond, but here I feel like I'm seen and heard. The CEO, CTO, CFO are all just steps away from where I sit and are all very involved and voice how much they appreciate us. So, overall - this is a great place to work! I don't plan to go anywhere anytime soon.

The owners really care about their employees and take the time to talk to you. Free lunches and can take food home when there is enough. There was an an site training gym with access for full time employees.  Good raises for hard workers. Great team when I worked there. They treated us well, even when we made mistakes, we didn’t get harped about them. One downside was that we didn’t always know when we’d be off because we had to complete the job (you can’t leave the food out all night.) The production work takes place in a cold room as well, I am always cold, but didn’t mind when I layered up. I’d definitely go back if I lived in the area.

Metabolic Meals is a great place to work because all the employees have great attitudes and love their jobs. As an employee, I can say that you will always be doing something and won’t stand around. The owners of Metabolic Meals are great people who take care of their employees, they even provide a gym for all employees to use that is fully equipped. I can say I look forward going to work each day because of the other employees. The food is another reason, the food is great. So needless to say, Metabolic Meals is the best job I’ve ever had.
