There were a lot of great people that I truly respected and got close with.  BUT the management was terrible.  
•You were expected to answer your phone no matter what, didn't matter if you were hourly or salary (whether it was on a Wednesday at 7:30 PM or a Saturday at 11:00 AM), and most of the time it was to discuss a topic that could have waited until the next morning or business day.  I understand some of the positions such as a program manager required certain expectations, but other admin/office positions do not.  
•Also, every day you never knew what the atmosphere was going to be like.  It always depended on the president's mood.  Some days would be great, but others would feel like a nightmare.  
•You may have multiple conversations with him over the same topic in one given day.  If you ever made a mistake (whether it be minor or major, whether it could be easily corrected or not), you would get a 20-30 minute conversation about why you did what you did and why you shouldn't have done it.  He was constantly repeat himself, and continually ask you "Do you understand?" "Am I making sense?"  Then, he would tell you to repeat what he had already said 5 times to make sure you truly understand him.  It was truly belittling.  He would try to say he is just "trying to teach you", but he would constantly talk to you like you were 5 years old.  
•There was no trust at all.  You would get assigned a project/task, and you could hear from him by the end of the day or the following day asking where you are with it even though you still had multiple days left to work on it.  
•There were very few employees who could last even a year with this company.  That says a lot.
•He does not follow the company’s “admin structure.”  For example, he would bypass the director/manager of the department and go straight to the admin staff to request a change be made on a form, process, project, etc., and expect the admin staff to not discuss it with the director/manager.

I have had the privilege of working in the finance department at AdvanceCare, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. The positive and collaborative atmosphere cultivated by our dedicated team has truly made this a standout workplace.

One of the standout aspects of AdvanceCare is the exceptional team I am fortunate to work with daily. From day one, I have been met with warmth and professionalism from all my colleagues at AdvanceCare. Their commitment to teamwork and mutual support has created a positive and motivating work environment. The camaraderie among us enhances our collective productivity and makes every day a pleasure to come to work.

Moreover, AdvanceCare strongly emphasizes the professional development and growth of its employees. The company's commitment to fostering individual success is evident through the numerous opportunities for training and skill enhancement provided. This dedication empowers us to excel in our current roles and positions us for future career advancement within the company.

 I feel privileged to be part of AdvanceCare, where collaboration is celebrated and individual growth is a priority. The finance department, in particular, stands out as a cohesive and driven team, making each workday enjoyable. With ample opportunities for training and development, AdvanceCare has created a workplace that values its employees and actively invests in their success.

Long story short, this owner has no idea what he is doing. Within the first month I was there, I came to realize the entire company was extremely worried about a state and federal audit that took place. They ultimately failed this audit and had to pay thousands in fines. Keep in mind this is a HEALTHCARE company and these audits were to insure the privacy and security of it's patients as well as the well being of there home care clients. To no surprise, they failed their audit tremendously. This led to a "meeting" with me and the "owner" at which I was told I could no longer be paid the original salary I was offered because of the amount of money he would have to pay after failing his audit. After the confused and distraught owner paced around the room a few times, he then said I could stay with the company but he couldn't guarantee a full time position. I left the room very skeptical and worried about the well being of my family. I was later terminated for, "absence reasons," after I was told I could not work full time any longer. I've kept in contact with 6 other people that were in the same room as me about the size of a kitchen. Give google one look with the building and you will realize the working environment. Do not give this company an inkling of your time if your are interested in actually doing something with your career.

I felt that leadership, including the CEO, created a culture where employees were not always treated as valued members of the organization. In my experience, there was a sense of arrogance from upper management, and employee concerns often seemed dismissed rather than addressed. Decisions felt personal at times rather than professional, which hurt morale and trust within the company.

I was brought in to help create processes, SOPs, reports, and operational documentation. I spent considerable time organizing information, improving workflows, and building resources that benefited the company. After much of that work was completed, I was terminated, leaving me feeling that my contributions were used without any real commitment to retaining the employee who created them.

The hardest part of the job was dealing with inconsistent expectations, poor communication, and leadership decisions that often felt disconnected from the realities of the work being done. The most enjoyable part was collaborating with coworkers and developing systems that improved efficiency.

The 5 start reviews are by current employees because they are tasked with writing a positive review to bring the overall review ratings up. Please filter the reviews and go read the lower one's as you will get more honest feedback. This is a great stepping stone job/position if you can handle being overworked for little pay. When you are hired you're expected to learn everything by reading a written SOP and watching a video of how to do it. Other co-workers are instructed by management to resort you back to the SOP if you are confused on what to do with your work. Management loves to point the finger and do the blame game, even if it's their fault. Management pushes great employees out the door because of they are solely money driven. They promote a "family culture" but it is far from that. They use a time tracking software that they base your work performance on by taking screenshots of your screen and monitoring everything you do while clocked in. There is very little trust between management and employees. It's really rare to meet someone who genuinely enjoys working here. You only get benefits after being here for 90 days and one 40 hour paid vacation after being here 1 full year. 

As part as as part of the admin staff, I feel that our days are filled with a lot of meetings, paperwork, communication with caregivers and clients and insurance companies , And other staff. If you aren't a quick learner, then admin position with this company is not for you. You have to have time management and be able to stay ahead of task . Communication is key. I have learned that you have to have patience and have to be understanding when it comes to working in an administrative position. Some of our positions are remote, so it is a little harder when it comes to the workplace culture, But we have found alternative ways to still be able to have that office experience. The hardest part of the job is being able to grasp all the information that is given to you. I enjoy the most getting to know the clients in the caregivers and working side-by-side with them. 

Working for AdvanceCare has been an exciting experience. They provide all the training you could possibly need plus some. I have never worked for a company so devoted to the growth (business and personal) of it's employees. Every day I learn something new. The company genuinely cares for the individuals they serve and the staff that helps serve them. Each day is a new adventure and a new learning experience. The President is extremely flexible in working with your schedule to create a great work/life balance. Even though the company is mostly a remote employee company, they are constantly doing things to keep us all connected and knowing each other and having fun together. I have worked with the President, leaders and various staff and everyone is willing to work with you and point you in the right direction to help in any way they can. 

Working for AdvanceCare has been an exciting and great experience. They provide flexibility to help with work/life balance. Working remotely can sometimes be a challenging experience but at AdvanceCare they have created a virtual environment that helps keep us all connected and we get to have fun. This company has gone above and beyond on their training processes to help everyone learn how to work in a virtual world. They are dedicated to helping all staff grow in knowledge and become successful.  There is opportunities to grow and step up in new roles and they offer a support and training to step into new roles. We all our dedicated in truly providing compassionate care for the individuals we serve and we love doing it. 

I have been with AdvanceCare for over a year and work primarily from home. This company is unlike any others that I have ever worked for in the past. There are a lot of team building projects and continuous learning activities. The company truly invests in their people. If you show up to do your job and do it well, then you will get the recognition you deserve! There is always room for growth and promotion if you are willing to put in the hard work. I won't lie and say it's always been a walk in the park, because it hasn't been, but no job worth having always is. Overall, I really enjoy working with my co-workers, as well as love the fact that I get to work from home and the flexibility/understanding the company offers to it's employees.

They won’t tell you they are under restriction in the interview process, you will find this out after you are hired. This can mean that the state of TN could shut them down with one bad audit. There is rampant fraud, gross negligence of the individuals supported, lies, manipulation, and diversion tactics every day! Everyone hasbeen promised a raise when ‘off restriction’ yet they continue to hire new people all the time,  instead of taking care of the current employees. The owner has anger management and control issues. He demands perfection but gives no direction of what his expectations are. Be prepared for ‘forced’ continuing educations classes/courses which are a gigantic waste of time!
