*Extreme Micromanagement from the CEO
 *Spying on employees by the CEO-he has cameras everywhere for "security purposes" and has rooms mic'd up so he always knows what you're speaking on *CEO constantly stirring up drama and speaking horrible things about employees behind their backs
 * The company has no sense of direction due to poor leadership and bottlenecking of responsibilities
 *Constant employee turnover because the CEO wants to fire people whenever he wants- most people don't make it passed 1 month because he doesn't like the way someone looks
 * I was offered an agreed upon rate which was later changed and lowered due to a "probationary period"
 *Was asked to log everything I did on a daily basis and email to management *They use the term "KPI's" to say that they guide themselves with these data points but they aren't actual KPI's. What they really mean is count how many emails, calls, and tickets you close. Also you have to count and time the length of your calls both outgoing and incoming. 
*No transferrable job skills
 *The product itself is confusing and outdated

Lots of very talented people who you will have a chance to work with. Everyone is very capable and very autonomous. You have the flexibility to figure out what you need to do and how to get it done. This company is entirely run by engineers and managers play a supporting role. I've never had so much freedom to work on things I loved, try out new experimental approach without worrying about failure.

This isn't an environment any good employee should be in; very disorganized and expected to read the ceo's mind to complete tasks. If you want to make a difference, this is not the job for you. If you want to feeling of being proud of the work you do, this is not the job for you. The stress wasn't worth it for me, and communicated that to HR on final day.

I work as a QA at MS Shift, and I really like it here. The team is very friendly and helpful. Everyone cares about doing a good job, and we all work together to get things done right. The office is really nice and has a great view — it’s a nice place to be every day. The managers are easy to talk to, and I always feel supported. I enjoy being part of the team.

A typical day at work consists of leaders watching and criticizing every move you make. There is little done to establish trust and not much to learn from leadership besides negativity. The culture is non existent and managers are often too stressed to provide direction. Training is minimal and unorganized. The hardest part of the job is reminding myself that I am not a robot. The most enjoyable part is getting to go home everyday. Go look at GD for real and honest reviews. Overall, the leaders are unsupportive and strategic, be prepared to be involved in inappropriate situations. 

Small, close-knit company where you can expect to meet with the CEO on a regular basis. Sounds intimidating, but in my experience there’s no better way to find out exactly what’s expected of you than hearing it directly from the man who writes your checks. 
I personally prefer to work for small companies like this over large corporations where nobody bothers to remember your name. Both myself and my contributions genuinely felt valuable.

As a QA engineer I appreciate the opportunity to work across a wide range of projects, this helps me to expand my skills and experience. The collaborative culture, combined with supportive team encourages open communication and shared problem solving. We are all focused on delivering greater user experience.
Overall, it’s a greater place to develop as a QA engineer!

I would typically start my day in the office and then head into the field to meet with current and future clients. I would meet with my team before leaving the office or out in the field. I had the freedom to create my own schedule. Work place culture was great however expectations could be too high at times.

This company is a viable option for individuals seeking to begin their careers and obtain foundational experience.  Overall, a reasonable environment for gaining early career experience.
