I am deeply disappointed and disgusted by my experience working at MyCare Medical. I was treated unfairly and disrespectfully by my colleagues and superiors, despite my best efforts to be a dedicated and hardworking employee.

From the very beginning, I was given an overwhelming workload and unrealistic deadlines, with little support or guidance. When I raised concerns about the workload and the lack of support, I was met with dismissive and condescending responses.

Furthermore, I was often subjected to belittling comments and insults from my colleagues and superiors, which made me feel humiliated and demoralized. I was made to feel like I was not valued as an employee and my contributions were constantly overlooked.

Despite my efforts to improve the situation by raising my concerns and trying to work collaboratively with my colleagues, nothing changed. In fact, the situation only worsened over time, and I was eventually pushed to the point of resigning from my position.

I cannot recommend this company to anyone, and I urge anyone considering employment here to seriously reconsider. The toxic work environment and lack of respect for employees make it a truly terrible place to work.

When I first started it was a really great place to work. My manager at the time was excellent and always giving the best of herself to her team. If she was unsure of something she was diligent enough to go find out. We had weekly meetings to see were everyone was at and she always found ways to support all of our team members if they were behind or if there were any internal issues with providers. However, I was eventually changed from one team to the next. There was so much pressure and stress to get the work done by a certain time frame but it was essentially impossible to get done. I knew a lot of my coworkers who would work off the clock so they wouldn't lose their job. It was a topic from time to time to remind everyone they shouldn't be working off the clock, but if you complained that it was too much work they would belittle you and compare you with other team members who are completing their daily tasks (but they were completing it cause they worked off the clock) My new manager was rude and condescending. They have great benefits but its not enough to keep the employees, there is a high turnover in that department. 

The company is struggling to succeed and has always had a limited budget for producing quality products. Executives tend to micromanage, leading to confusion among management, who often seem more uncertain than the lower-paid staff. Additionally, management frequently engages in gossip and often contradicts itself. 

I was hired for a specific role, but I soon discovered that was not going to happen, rather I spent 70% of my time creating fillable flyers, 10% updating materials due to the constant turnover of nurses and doctors, and the remaining time working on projects that lacked the necessary budget for completion. The board and top executives believe that hiring more executives and creating new programs will solve the problems. However, they should focus on improving the clinics and enhancing communication between departments first.

MyCare Medical is a company that has taken upon itself to ensure proper care for their patients. Everyone here has a sense of pride on how everything we do is to give proper care to each individual that comes into our offices. 

A typical day here at MyCare really depends on the role obviously. However, everyone here seems  focused on what the main goal is. Every person I work with is not afraid to role up their sleeves and put in the work, or offer help.

The hardest part I would say is that there is a lot to do here but not enough time in the day to do it. Luckily, management here understands that and will offer help and guidance if needed, as long as you keep up communication. 

I am very new  so currently I'm mostly learning my ways around the processes. This company is still transitioning from a smaller group to being part of a large multi state company. So far it seems, that the friction that this transition creates is being given time to cool off. There might be some signs that the expected further changes caused by software update and company wide standardization of processes might bring about more change and friction as longer term coworkers will have to adjust their ways and management will have to find the balance between pushing the intended changes and giving employees the time to adjust and the feeling that they are an active part of this  their experience and input are being valued.

Some of my coworkers were vey kind, and I also enjoyed my work.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The most stressful part of working at MyCare Medical was the inequality of management  treatment towards the staff (bad bosses), and not an all inclusive environment.
The culture at the corporate office is very toxic and biased.


What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment is not inclusive, unprofessional, and I've heard managers say things about ethnic, social/classist, other inappropriate conversations in the office.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Review A/P batches, update BS schedules, prepare for month end close.

You have job security just be prepared to be over worked and extremely stressed all the time. I felt like I was in high school all over again. I asked a few times for a raise since I was training others who where getting paid $2 than I was and I am bilingual. Long story short you can tell management is also over worked, they are overwhelmed by having 150 employees. The turn over is crazy! It is a lot for the scheduling department, things change on the daily. Upper management is rude and snippy and so are the other employees. Your walking on eggshells, very hostile place with lots of work for little pay, benefits are good but expensive. They definitely have favorites some Medical assistants that started 6 months ago are at $19 while others are at $17 and are declined a raise after years of servitude.  I was miserable.

Miserable experience. Low pay, constantly understaffed, turnover every other day, they don’t value their workers , and they push numbers over patient care. Was told “patients with these insurances don’t matter.” Within the first few days of me starting a comment was made about my race. Only wanted to bring in patients with certain insurances. Constantly super busy. Uneven workload between employees , management is constantly micromanaging.Favoritism is a huge issue with management. The doctors and my coworkers were the only good parts about the job- as they were all sweet. Saw many good employees go throughout the span of a year because of the terrible management.

This company is great at making people believe it's efficient and successful. Management doesn't care about anyone below them and will fire you in a heartbeat for their own mistakes. The company is a hot mess because they keep hiring directors for useless jobs while everyone else struggles to make up for the amount of people that quit or get fired. 
They do not provide bonuses for the amount of work you have to make up for lack of employees. 
Managers have meetings all the time but nothing gets fixed. 
This place is a joke. HR does nothing but pretend to listen and they don't keep things discrete. 
Do not work for this company. They try and provide higher pay to make up for the lack of intelligence. Don't fall for it.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The paycheck is the best part of working at the company.  Unfortunately, promises and commitments are just words to the employer and what is said to entice you to join is soon forgotten or changed to suit their needs.  

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The stress of knowing their words are not the firm commitment you are led to believe they are.  

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The company is not one to keep their promises.  

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stressful once I realized profit was always their first priority.
