I moved in to this branch from another part of the company and this is one of the best experiences that I have had in my career. It is a rapidly growing and evolving branch of the organization with a great management team who helps to develop and motivate its employees to exceed their goals and increase their earning potential. One of the most enjoyable parts of the job is that I am offering a service to our customers that they NEED and often times may have been unaware of. Being able to help customers as a part of the job is something that I find enjoyable and take a lot of pride in. One of the challenging parts of the job is you have to be motivated to work on your own and perform at a high level. Someone that would not characterize themselves as hard working or a go- getter may struggle in this role. The culture of the organization is one that is laid back if you are able to perform. It is a lot of fun to work with people who have a similar mindset of not only enjoying what they do but also are able to come in to every day motivated to perform at a high level.

I feel extremely fortunate that I have had the opportunity to work at National Services Group. NSG is a great company for individuals who value the opportunity for career advancement. Personally my experience with NSG has been nothing short of life-changing. The members of management that I have had the privilege to work with have really helped me grow both professionally and personally. As well they have always been willing to go above and beyond to help me develop in the position. Something that I truly value about my sales role with NSG is that I have the ability to control my level of success based on the amount of effort I put in. A position with NSG can be very competitive and lucrative because you earn what you put into this job. The thing that stands out the most to me about NSG though is the feeling I get working with the other individuals in the company. My Best Man at my wedding was a guy that I met at an entry level position in this company and one of our bridesmaids was a co-worker as well. NSG has helped me to build a tremendous network of individuals who I’m very proud to not only call co-workers but also friends.

As a DM for CWP-MN I acted as a consultant for two exterior painting companies.  I recruited Branch Managers all over the state at universities in the fall and winter.  In the spring I trained my managers on marketing and outside sales in the field.  We would conduct daily meetings and weekly conference calls to cover best practices and also to ensure they are meeting their goals.  In the spring I trained the Branch Managers on how to hire employees.  In the summer I oversaw the branch managers' production, helped them manage their crews, as well as handled any customer complaints.  During my DM year I also personally ran the largest branch in Minnesota (over $138,000 in revenue) beating the previous MN record which I set the year prior.

Working at National Services Group has been a great experience. One of the biggest positives about this company is the opportunities for growth and advancement. They truly invest in their employees by providing hands-on training and support to help you develop new skills and move up within the organization.

The company culture is also a huge plus. They genuinely appreciate their employees and host fun company events to show their gratitude. 

Another thing I like is the access to certifications and other learning programs. National Services Group encourages professional development, offering opportunities to expand your knowledge and grow within your career. 

Overall, a great place to work 

My experience working with NSG has only been positive from the beginning. I have never worked with a greater group of people from coworkers to management. I am always challenged to improve and have grown immensely in the past year alone. Management is very supportive and constantly works to improve my skills and earning potential. The pay structure allows to earn what you put in, so the harder you work the more you make. Overall this is the best experience I have had in my career and look forward to the years to come.

I am so grateful for the opportunity to work for this company. I have worked here for 7 years now and it has been such an amazing learning experience. I plan to continue to grow as a person here and work my way up into management. It is definitely a challenging job but super rewarding. NSG really rewards people who put the most into their success. Culture is awesome and fun, it is a lot of like minded people who push each other but know how to have a good time too.

More calling on customers than expected and there can be some overnight travel.  Leads are poor and often several years old.  Ran into more displeased customers than I would like to see in a company that I'm representing.  Quality of work was nowhere near the prices they charge for their services.  Often had people tell me how terrible their experience was working with National Services Group.  They either contract their work or have college students get the job done.

I worked here as an intern (branch manager) for two years. There is no experience like it. As a college student, I was able to experience what running my own business was like. It was easily the most difficult thing I've had to do, and was often overwhelming. That being said, the sales and management skills that I learned here are far beyond anything I could have learned in school, and even though it was far from perfect, I wouldn't trade the experience for anything.

I work with the Inspector division of National Services Group and would highly recommend this company. The potential to advance is phenomenal since the company has grown so much over the past 3 years. I have taken numerous promotions already and I'm very happy with my current position.

The company had poor leadership, unprofessional management, and a toxic work environment. Favoritism, lack of communication, and zero support for growth left employees undervalued and overworked. The culture was demotivating, with no respect or collaboration. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone seeking a positive and healthy workplace.
