I received the highest possible performance reviews from this company repeatedly and yet they would never give me a decent raise or allow me to apply for a higher paying position. I wrote instructional materials and trained employees three levels above me in how to do my job, and brand new hires were being offered $5 an hour more than I was making. AFTER I quit I was offered a raise and promotion to stay. Much too little, much too late. Benefits are always decreasing. Quality of health insurance is terrible. Company provides services exclusively in US and moves as many administrative billing jobs as possible to foreign countries, laying off the American employees. Company communication is abysmal. Employees are not valued for knowledge or potential. Managers are always making excuses and prioritize covering themselves from blame.

I left a wonderful position to go to NAPA under the premise that this was a great opportunity.  My decision to leave and start new at NAPA was one of the worst I've ever made.  The staff were all great. Management is where this company is lacking. I was told by many employees that NAPA was a wonderful place to work when the old director was there.  Under the newest director there is nothing but fear for your job.  It had become a routine to see someone being walked out of the office, or simply not coming back to work the next day. I randomly lost my job due to "restructuring".  I had no inclination that this was going to happen, I was just brought into a room while the two people who "regrettably" let me go were eating their lunch as if this was just a  normal, no big deal thing to them. I would tell anyone, do not work here!  It will be a decision you will regret at one point or another.

The corporate team I worked with in HR was great. Friendly, caring, and everyone was supportive. The issue was the ongoing budget cutstowards the end of the time I was there. The pay was low 20's hourly, and for an HR role, that's pretty low. But because the position wasn't stressful and gave me a wonderful work/life balance, I stayed, especiallywith it being a critical time of my life financially.

This role showed me what a great work culture looks like. I never saw anything close after I left. Our Director of HR, Lisa, was my team's manager and was nice, understanding, and genuinely valued everyone. If it wasn't for the mass layoffs, I'd still be there while finishing school. But I appreciate the severance pay they at least gave in the end.

Working for NAPA you'll always be at the low end of the market.   Less vacation than competitors or people who were there before the company was bought, ridiculously long vesting schedule for retirement, weekends and odd hours are very poorly incentivized even though the requirements are going up.  Always the last to raise rates to match competitors.  You may think you're getting a deal because that's always how it's pitched but before you take that huge pay cut for no call, get locked into their retirement or whatever else they're offering and give up your weekends for almost nothing shop around and you'll see that even in a market dominated by NAPA you still find better options for the same work.

I worked at NAPA as a certified coder. My experience with my direct managers and team of coders, auditor,  and pod captain was the best I have ever worked with. There was so much to learn from them and it was a great support system. I would have stayed at this company for a very long time if it wasn't for the multiple layoffs. I was laid off twice and the company completely eliminated several teams. The benefits were pretty great but the pay was mid. I was accused of using a mouse jiggler and was fired even though I had never used one before and they had no proof.  My team was amazing but the company is awful. Run far away from this place. Highly unrecommended. 

Leadership for the Revenue Cycle in the Melville office is a JOKE!!  The Senior Director for Revenue Cycle has very little people skills and ZERO Anesthesia experience! This office has more Senior Directors, Directors, Assistant Directors, and none have the ability to see the forest for the trees!! Poor management and decision making, this will eventually lead to their downfall!! They are like a hamster in wheel, they keep spinning and get absolutely nowhere!!! If your looking to merge or use NAPA think long and hard!! Sheep in wolves clothing!!

North American Partners in Anesthesia provided strong opportunities for growth and leadership development during my tenure. Earlier in my time there, the organization operated with a clear strategic vision and strong cross-functional alignment, which made it an exciting environment to contribute and grow. Over time, significant leadership changes and organizational restructuring shifted priorities and direction, creating a more transitional environment. My role was ultimately eliminated as part of broader changes, but I’m grateful for the experience, the teams I worked with, and the opportunity to help build and scale service operations in a complex healthcare setting.

You're not only an employee; you're family!  Everyone knows you by name and is very friendly and professional at the same time.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
It was when I fell behind on my work but managed to get the job done by the end of the day.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
I worked from home, but you meet different people from different cultures, and you learn from one another.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
We focused on the need of our clients, answered their questions to the best of our knowledge, and made them feel important.

-Watching your other  co workers lose their jobs due to “restructuring” by an insensitive bunch of upper management newbies 
-Losing all the positive benefits you were given when you started and replaced with stricter, more difficult policies to adhere to
-Being lied to on a daily basis
THEN THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!

The best thing I can say is I work with a great group of people in the office. Upper Management is not good at all. They are continually making changes and decisions that make it very very difficult. Communication with management is also very poor. For these reasons, the general mood of the office has dropped dramatically over the past several months. The Administrator recently hired doesn't interact with the workers at all. I don't think she knows the names of 90% of the office staff. Her door is usually always closed and is she is unapproachable.
