This place was an OK company to work for when I started out, except I was given NO training at all. From day one, I was left to  "figure it out by myself", but thats ok, because I'm a fast learner! One good thing I do have to say, is the RN position was VERY flexible. I basically made my own schedule and scheduled my CSPR visits around my busy family life. Not working weekends/ holidays/ or past 5 pm was a plus too! The working environments at times were not so glamorous though. We ALL worked in some of the most repulsive, bed bug/ flea infested homes....but "thats home health for you". The workload was also WAY too much to handle at times....I was one nurse with over 100 clients to see every 60 days in multiple counties.... office managers were corerced to accept as many cases as they could...because corporate had a "quota" to meet. Even without adequate staffing to fill work these cases. At one point I had 24 admission folders in hand to complete....by myself. I also put about 13,500 miles on my car in a little over a year, without any reimbursement..... Though, I do have to say when COVID hit, I was given the opportunity to work from the office, (but was restricted on how many hours I was there) and from home (basically same amount of work, if not more, for a huge pay cut).  That was a big hit during the pandemic; and while we're on the subject, the pay was exceptionally lower than that of area home health companies in comparison, skilled and non skilled (which this office is non skilled due to billing regulations). Unfortunately, as time went on, things became quite "disorganized" to put it nicely. They went through 4-5 office managers in my time there and 2 different schedulers. The aide turn over rate was crazy as well. There were and still are alot of great aides working who have been there many years, who have yet to see a pay raise....still making the mere 9.00-10.00/hour they were hired in at. And Upper management? You would only see them once in a blue moon when it was "convenient" for them to make the drive from the corporate office. As a matter of fact, I didn't even meet the regional manager until I was employed over half a year here. There was little to no communication between the Mansfield staff and our regional manager and the response time if there was a concern took many days and sometimes weeks.....if even at all. I think I can speak on behalf of all the past and current staff there....office managers were belittled, and talked down upon like they were "stupid" none of us felt like we mattered, and our voices weren't heard. We were all just a bunch of nobody's in a small town city, who "know nothing" ....the clients felt the lack of support as well, and we lost alot of cases as a result. Good cases. I worked my butt off to better the lives of numerous elderly individuals in my short time here. I took my job seriously, I went above and beyond, and I always gave 100%. Even when it seemed impossible to do so. I decided to part ways after a high risk pregnancy put me on maternity leave longer than expected....and honestly it was a blessing in disguise. Thank-you NEPHI for your lack of concern by the way during that time....and how all you cared about was when I was coming back....I could honestly go on and on for days, but I will conclude this review with a short message to potential applicants......if you want a job where you "matter" as an employee, and not only that....a human being....There are many better suited companies in the Mansfield area. I truly hope this company can turn things around not only at this office, but as a whole. Thank you North East for giving me the opportunity to use this position as a learning experience to do my research in the future before just settling on an employment opportunity. If only I knew then what I knew now.......


I have been with this agency for a number of years and find that the culture is supportive, caring, compassionate and realistic. While our primary focus is on the patients' goals and clinicians diligently work toward that target, I feel we also recognize that without our clinicians, the patient's goals would not be able to be addressed. Home care is a very hard and demanding career path, but out clinicians have taken on that challenge and do a great job at it! In this day of insurance driven care, this can often be very  frustrating as insurance many times does not allow patient goals to be met with limited authorizations or denials for ongoing care requested. But our team truly does their very best every visit to make sure that the patient is safe, and able to remain in their home as safely as possible. Interdisciplinary communication between clinicians and referral sources (doctors/hospitals/SNFs) is also a high priority that only serves to solidify the care we deliver to our patients. 

I worked for Northeast approximately two and a half months, in which time I met some amazing clients, however the management is not organized, reliable or professional. The scheduling is always wrong, your promised things that they never have any intentions of doing, an a lot of clients are left without any help if their regular Aid calls off. Many of my clients were unhappy with the two ladies that do the scheduling, but when they tried to speak to someone above them about their concerns, they always got the runaround. I believe that North East has a lot of potential if the owner make some changes in the people that are running it. He also needs to reach out to the clients on a personal level and find out what's really going on there.

Northeast professionals has THE BEST clients! The ladies at the office are very helpful and I appreciate the . If you need help they answer your call if it's very busy they always get ahold of you to help. My main thing i love though is helping others and feeling like I made a difference and I feel that way every day because my clients rock! If you love helping others, enjoy knowing they get to stay in their own home and your a part of the reason why, and you yourself love to learn something new each day, this is the job for you. Also pay is good, office is understanding, it's work around your own and clients schedule so as long as you communicate, it's an easy fun job!

What is the best part of working at the company?
I actually liked my job. The main office could care less about the Aides and nurses. I liked making a difference in my clients lives.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Over worked. Shorted on paychecks.  Having to fill my car up twice a week. Management. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
I liked working alone without coworkers.  It was a good situation.  They overworked us by having us be housekeepers for low pay.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Go from client to client and clean their apartments.

I would go to clients homes and help them with their ADL's. I would help clean clients homes, which would include running the vacuum, doing laundry and dishes, cleaning the bathroom and kitchen. The only thing I didn't like about this company is they were so unorganized, and always understaffed. You would give them a schedule to work around (which made it nice because you could basically make your own schedule), but every time someone would call off they would call you, and if you couldn't pick up the shift, they would get an attitude with you.

Clients I work with were very nice the office staff were all liars

Pay rate is ridiculous and they run u all over town

I have always felt appreciated for the work I do with Northeast. Management has always been complementary. Northeast has been understanding if at any time you needed to take time off for family emergency, doctors appointments, sickness. The quality of care that each clinician provides to our patients has been above and beyond. We work together to make sure each patient has the medical help that they need by working together with our team and their doctors. 

I would love to say i recommend this job to everyone but i can clearly say i do not. The culture is beyond unfair, with being made to treat one person differently than another even though you’re trying to follow the same rules for everyone. Upper management is no help they are the worst critics to you, it’s hard to get any support or communication from anyone above you, the pay is low for the office staff and there is a major lack of respect for the employees in general. 

I would work the hour's the client was allowed by law. I learned everyone's needs can be different. The management was poor. The workplace culture was unprofessional. Hardest part of job was when company lied to patient, didn't provide an aide for a time period then would send you there to reap the attitude of the client. I was able to decide what cases I would like to work.
