This place is great to learn in a fast-paced environment. However, when it gets busy, it is not safe due to low staff. Staff calling off for sickness, mental health, and childcare. They will not close doors even 5 min before closing although as a solo provider have already seen 60+ patients and have several charts to close. They expect you to finish and close charts before leaving as well. So your busy 10 hr shift has now turned into a 11-13 hr shift. There is only one MA in front desk to deal with full lobby of disrespectful patients who want to be seen right away and one MA in the back trying to do several tasks because you have procedures such as I and D's, splinting, suturing,preop patients, immigration physicals,  wound care and on top of this see several covid patients. They do give christmas bonuses but is not significant.

This place makes you feel like you're doing everything wrong. There is no motivation, no one says you're doing a good job. If you ask for reviews/raise, they point out all your 'flaws' and deny your raise. 

Hard workers get pushed to the side, lazy people get the raises if they give their 2 weeks notice. But yet you ask for a review after long time employment and get offered CENTS!! All of a sudden they have so many complaints against you, which were never brought up before. 

Some providers can be really rude. 

They throw you in without training, and when you do something wrong you're the one who gets the write up.

If it's so busy that you don't take a lunch they deduct the hour anyway.

This place is good for experience, especially for new grads, but not a good place to work in for the long run.  upper management needs a lot of improvement in responding to employees, showing employee gratification and most importantly, the company needs to pay their employees better.  The work load is too much for the pay rate that they currently give employees.  Aside from upper management, staff members can be great to work with and will help with any questions you have.


I love my job as an LVN at the urgent care I’ve been working at for the past two years. Over this time, I’ve seen a noticeable positive difference in my pay, which has been a great motivator. While the hours can be long, it’s the type of work schedule I’m looking for, and I’m grateful for the opportunities it provides. The management team has made an effort to create a family-like atmosphere, and I appreciate how they make us feel valued and not just like a number. It’s a great place to work, and I’m proud to be part of the team. 

Working at OC Urgent Care clinic was always a great day. I learned something new everyday and I was able to advance my knowledge every day. Being able to perform procedure on patients everyday was always great because it was giving me experience from the very start. When I advance into my nursing career in the future, this experience will always come in handy.

Benefits and pay are subpar. PTO accrues at a snails pace. Management is inconsistent with scheduling. They also constantly pressure the MAs to schedule pointless televisits for patients. Admin makes questionable decisions.

Coworkers are friendly and will help you throughout the shift. However, I do not recommend staying if you need a supportive environment. Workload will vary depending on the location you're assigned to. 

horrible place to work at. I was getting paid minimum wage. the management sucks. They don't train their employees either, and god forbid you make a mistake they will write you up with no explanation. a lot of the people higher up take advantage of students who are vulnerable. Not once did they say "good job" or any of that but they for sure will gladly point out your flaws.the doctor who owns the company could care less about his employees as well.

I really enjoyed working for this company. I was able to facilitate new and helpful ways to make the Urgent Care run smoothly. I was able to assist in many different procedures, as well as observe specific types of surgeries.

My co-workers were great. We all got along and made the best out of every day.

I truly enjoyed my time working there.

The management was poor and there was a constant hostile environment created by the manager. There was a constant reminder that your job was a stake and some of the employees were sick to their stomach to have to come to work because of this manager.

Each day I worked both Front and Back Office. In the Front, I would input all Patients into both the Daily Log and into MD Suites. Create and find patient charts, verify insurance and collect co-pays and office fees. In the Back, I would bring back a patient and start with their Vitals and then move onto progress notes on the patient. I also did all Clinical work L\including: Injs., Blood Draw, Ear Lavage, Vision Acuity, Lab Work, EKG, and assisted in procedures.
