They don’t care for the pts, it’s about the money. 
They expect you to do the job of 3 people getting paid for one. I was running an entire off barely getting 19…  mind you they do this to everyone when they open a new office. But they were hiring someone as an MA to come in at about the same pay rate as me. They will use you and completely blind side you ! DO NOT WORK HERE!!!!
I set up an entire off on my own, barely had any training or help from others- when the time did come more and more was being put on my shoulders and next thing I know I get demoted from admin to Reception. Mind you I’m still the only employee in that office from checking in pts. To rooming pts and taking vitals, assisting the doctor and also having to do all front desk duties, helping marketing/ outreach in whatever they needed, ect to then have the position taken right from me because they want to fire people and bring back old employees they had 2+ years ago. THEY WILL COMPLETELY USE YOU. Instead of them trying to compensate and show they appreciate their employees they would rather post your position for a lower pay yet they are racking up off these patients insurances. I put my two weeks notice in once I was fed up & got let go the next day. Again I was the only employee in that office so at the end I didn’t need them. They most definitely needed me. Management is trash. 

This is an exhausting company to work for please beware of the amount of stress and strain it will put in your life. I have been doing this job for several years with no problem, as soon as I became a Palm employee, my performance level is not meeting their expectations. I dreaded going to work every single day, which is pretty sad, especially when I had high hopes from the company took over. Since Palm has taken over, every day staffing has been shorthanded where someone is either pulled from the office to go to another one, out sick or someone new covering from a different location. We went from having a fully staffed office at about seven people to having two left. Everyone who has been hired to replace old staffing is not very good and then the old ones are left being treated as if we are not good enough. There is no recognition for going above and beyond only fake praises  followed by passive aggressive behavior and comments. This company has people working in it that lack common sense and forget about communication it is all about making a buck off of the elderly Medicare population not quality patient care. If you are thinking about joining forces and entering your practice be weary and if your goal is to increase your patient numbers be careful because they just may kill it.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Never what they offer you, they do everything on their hands to not raise your pay rate, no balance between your salary and the burnout work place, poor operation management, completely disorganized, short staff always, no employee appreciation, 100% retaliation work environment if they don’t like you you will be forever in the same position and the same salary, toxic workplace. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Excessive amount of work compare to your pay rate. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Toxic and retaliation if you express your opinion about something you disagree. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Completely burned out by Thursday you are exhausted.

Do not apply to this job if its the last one on planet earth. You are expected to work VERY hard as a Medical Assistant with barely no help from others within the office. The workload is very overwhelming for one individual to handle and the compensation is garbage.The office is VERY busy, which leaves no room for breathing somedays.The girls in the office work very hard and are barely compensated at $20 an hour. You are left to sink or swim, while others standby and gossip all day long. The good reviews that are posted within the last 3months are by employees who currently work there. You cannot live in south Florida and provide for your family based on the chicken change that they offer you! The only nice thing about this office is its location. Read all reviews and take heed, you've been warned! Hence the reason for the high turnover 
 

Working at Palm Medical Centers was a valuable experience in many ways. I had the opportunity to grow my skills, assist wonderful patients, and be part of a team that, at times, truly cared about delivering quality care.

However, the overall work environment became increasingly difficult due to management issues and internal conflicts that were not handled appropriately or professionally. Certain situations were brushed off instead of addressed, making it uncomfortable and even unsafe to continue working there. I ultimately chose to leave not because I wanted to, but because the environment made it impossible to thrive or feel respected.

I truly hope future improvements are made for the sake of the amazing patients and some of the hardworking staff members who deserve better leadership and support.

Where do I begin? This company is horrible. I was a manager for one of the offices and I am here to tell you that they will overwork you and never ever appreciate what you do. I was severely underpaid and for the majority of my time with this company I have done the job of two people because they can’t find decent people to hire. They will overwork you with absolutely no appreciation. Everything was just dumped on me.  They expect you to be available 24/7. They will tell you that you will get bonuses but most of the time you barely get anything. The health insurance is ridiculous and they try to make you feel guilty if you want to take PTO days. If you are thinking about applying for a job here, I would seriously reconsider.

The company has the resources to provide good quality care for their managed care patients.

The stress being on providing care at a fast pace, and looking down on the need to spend time for the individual patient.

Unfortunately the Company's Administration does not always value the staff's ability to meet the genuine needs of the patients.

Stressful whenever administration is involved.

Overall, this is a fantastic organization to be part of, and I’m truly grateful for the positive environment and the opportunities it has provided me.

Working as an Administrator in the Bartow office has been a truly positive experience. I’ve appreciated the opportunities for growth and the continuous support I’ve received along the way. The company fosters a strong, inclusive culture that encourages teamwork, learning, and professional development. I genuinely enjoy being part of an organization that values its employees and gives them space to grow and succeed.

For some reason this company makes false promises, in regards to compensation for training other individuals. Unfortunately, there was no support in my department from from seasoned staff or management because they did not have the knowledge to help. Raises are not something to look forward to. Growth within the company is not something to look forward to. Also, no structure and it was pretty much every man for themselves. The physicians are all about the money and getting what they need without understanding the process and work it takes to get there.
