I personally was looking to be hired for a remote job, business was something I was looking forward to; so safe to say, this fit my criteria. Upon interviewing they simply ask about your work history and about basic customer service skills, as well as if you were comfortable in working in that position--Not telling you about the job process until you reached training, but they do emphasize the pay. Training is rushed throughout a week without any real hands-on practices as well as throwing information at you about the company and past employees successes instead of actually training you. I spent hours just looking at videos they provided about what the company does and how much you can make with them, and practically a few minutes learning how to actually work. After that week, they put you on the field with no real lead as to where to go or what to do. And then, you realize this is a sales pitching job that reaches out to cold, unsuccessful, or dead businesses. Majority of the time you will be badgered to get "LT's" Live Transfers, as that's the way management get their pay (Mostly from commission) If they close a deal, they are paid and you are paid a fraction temporarily...However there's a catch; you are calling from an alternative app rather than your actual phone, and it is a "Scam Likely" number. Majority of the time your call is immediately disconnected, blocked, or hung up on via your sales pitch because you BECOME the scam to these businesses. And you are pressured to meet quotas of LT's for management or else your job gets put on the line. As you go about this job, you have majority, cold leads and unsuccessful transfers and all the company will tell you to do in this regard is to "Make more calls" As they expect 250+ each day, 5 days a week, from 9:00am - 6:15pm. And if you so much as take a water/bathroom break, you are immediately watched, e-mailed, spam called and messaged, etc. The ironic part about this all, I've worked in this process for about the past month or so, and they are JUST NOW telling me that everything I learned at training, was incorrect...But it is not their fault. Furthermore, whenever you attempt you request time off, use sick hours, handle an emergency, it is almost immediately denied unless you are worthy of calling off. You are not allowed to have any personal time for whatever reason outside of the weekends. You can write out paragraphs of e-mails and make explicit details of needing to take care of personal needs at home, and immediately, you will be called with your issues ignored and to "Pick up your production and maybe they'll consider you taking care of an emergency." You will be treated as a number here, with the pay being the only thing keeping you. They are not accommodating nor treat you like family, let alone give you guidance. 

This is not the job for you if you aren't a sales person. I wasn't hired to do sales but i was let go for not meeting sales goals. Training is one week which isn't enough if you don't have the experience (it should really be 3 weeks to ensure you actually know what you're doing). They don't provide any equipment or research that's needed and the calling app used is absolute trash because of the frequent technical difficulties. They suggested I had the malware turned off my phone for it to function better which is worrying to say the least. You have to research and locate all the businesses you choose to contact and be prepared for no one to be interested, no matter how confident you are you cannot force interest that isn't there to begin with. Supervisors were as helpful as they chose to be while dealing with their own work load, which leaves you often feeling rushed off the phone. The daily twice a day meetings seemed excessive and with repetitive information. Sometimes product info was given but seemed like the purpose was to only tell you about it versus actually giving information for you to write down, which would have been fine if they sent a pdf of the information. Location was fine because it was work from home. Allows for the convenience of working from anywhere and cooking and eating for self. You can also call out but I never did to give info on call outs and vacation time. YOU ARE COLD CALLING which ain't for everybody and is very annoying. You have the potential raise your hourly wage on a tier system based on your weekly average which is cool. Bonuses aren't what was expected... I was expecting bonus paychecks but they like.. gift certificates to select stores which is great if that's what you're into 


I really don't have anything bad to say about this company the only thing is I wish that they gave us a fair chance when it came to the training, because now some are unemployed because they couldn't meet their quota  with the company. Now for me I can't speak for everybody else I felt like I was qualified for the job but they could have just placed me somewhere else because there way of a dialer system I wasn't use too. I also felt like it could have been more detailed oriented as far as training I felt like it was kind of all over the place and kind of a popcorn pick me type thing. as well as communication was all over the place. Now the pay is amazing the benefits and hours are outstanding. But I think their company needs more positions cause obviously we had some type of skill to be hired, and it may not have been for that specific position, but everyone has to make a living. I know it's a numbers game, but you all definitely would kill more time if you had a dialer system or hire people to find leads for appointment setters, assign each appointment setter a lead finder just so the good salespeople can just call the number the lead finders find to set appointments. Pay them 15$ and hour. Loved the training team.. I knew I had the protentional to be great, but two weeks little knowledge training did nothing. I was lied to and told that if we didn't have the quota of sales that they would stick us back in training that never happened They just let people go all I have to say is make sure you have some money in your savings and a backup job because this job isn't for everybody.

At the beginning they offer uncapped residual earnings, then they discount money from your commissions for everything including administrative fees and offer little to no support through the process.  They also find a way to not pay your residuals based on future sales which is ridiculous, and on top of taking your money they make you build a residual account that they tell you is yours once you leave and when you request it they tell you it will take 8 months to get your money back minus any chargebacks from customers, mind you clients get equipment financed through third parties with a personal guarantee so business consultants should not be an additional guarantor for the businesses we sell.  Also they offer zero support not even up to date sales materials all super outdated and communication is deplorable on a good day.  My last year there I should’ve made well over $70K but instead since they kept my residuals because I couldn’t hit their minimum sales monthly (largely due because their prices are much higher than competition and the platform is not any different than they can get anywhere else,  technical support team has some very helpful people but other than that not much positive at all) and my 1099 was for $11K so the decision to do all leave was quite simple even though I’m extremely loyal and kept on giving them several chances, even brought a very large potential account that had over 109 locations and management completely botched that as well 

First off you are told that you are a business consultant; in-which you are not.  A business consultant is someone that has business knowledge on running a successful business.  Selling and installing systems is NOT a business consultant.  YOU ARE A 1099 OUTSIDE SALES.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND NEVER HAVE THEM CALL TO SCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS FOR YOU UNLESS YOU WANT TO WALK IN TO SOME VERY ANGRY MERCHANTS.  The call center can't take no for an answer and will set you up for failure.
The training was one week long.  No shuttle to the training center.  You might want to get a rent-a-car...  Training was a book with fill-in-the-blanks.  Mentors are worthless when you get out in the field.  Mine never called me back or texted.  Had two of them and they are the same.
You will be stuck with their Monday webinar that is mainly about CDP Cash Discount Program and if your not certified you will never get your full promised pay.
Merchants complaints are simple.  Auto-batching seems to always be incorrect.  Most merchants never catch the issues because they aren't any good with numbers.  But if they look at the NET GROSS on their system and check they bank account the next day it will always be less.
When calling SBGA about this issue they never take responsibility or they say they will look into it.  Never resolved.

There is no way to ensure businesses that signed up don't continue to get called again n again and has lead to business canceling appt because was called 4 more times prior to appt. Calls come out as spam calls due to app which negatively effects the call before it starts. No help in generated leads except top businesses which will just get you speaking with someone who knows more about company because they were called repeatedly and are still being called. No feeling of job security. Meeting only focus on the very few hitting insane numbers and focus on that versus approach to improving or any guidance. The worst company I have worked for and feel that we are in business of taking advantage of businesses instead of growing them. Only focus is the  system they want to have businesses lease which is not financially in there best interest. Feel they should have to be accountable for misleading and misrepresentation of our reason for booking appt.

I began my journey with the formerly known Merchant Service in 2009 as an Inside Sales Assistant. Equipped with just a phone, computer, and the yellow pages, my task was to cold call merchants and schedule appointments for the outside sales representatives to review their accounts and offer better rates. Initially intended as a temporary position while completing rehabilitation and fulfilling parole obligations, I ended up dedicating 12 years of my career to this company.
Throughout my tenure, I held various positions and worked my way up to a supervisory role, developing invaluable job and leadership skills along the way. I experienced the company's transformation as they restructured and rebranded as SBGA. Despite the challenges and growing pains that accompanied these changes, I remained committed to my role.
Unfortunately, my time at SBGA came to an end when I was laid off in 2020 due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, I am grateful for the well-deserved severance package I received and the wealth of experience gained during my time there.

a typical day starts anywhere from 6-8 am. You are expected to be on phones making back to back calls from the minute that you clock in, until the minute that you clock out. If you are not on a call for more than 6 minutes at a time. You will be asked to clock out. I was afraid to use the restroom without my phone in hand, as I was to expect a call from my supervisor about my whereabouts, and lack of consistent calling. Its incredibly overwhelming, and invasive. 

I worked in the Call Center where about 50 or fewer people were all broken off into selective teams, based on your work pace and skills under pressure. I was on the gold team. The gold team mostly consisted of either highly skilled CCA's with higher call volume success or CCA's with the potential to be such.  The hardest part for me would be convincing a new client to set an appointment with our company to review their system.  I learned something new about the company and what we did and also how to explain that over the phone every day.  Each team had a manager.  Overall the workplace culture and environment were upbeat, fast pace, positive and very competitive with each team having certain goal numbers to meet and a certain break time to play games with prizes.  Meeting with my team Outside Sales Rep. Via Skype was the most enjoyable part of work for me. Because that was when I more information about what kinda clients more or less my Rep. wanted me to set appointments with.

I started this job as a BCA in the beginning of the year. As the end of March, they had to laid off a lot of workers during the Covid-19 pandemic. (which I was fine with.) They proposed that we'll receive money during this pandemic as a "Disaster Relief Fund". I gave them my personal info along with my full SSN. (I was told to provide it on paper). Months later, I have not received no information regarding our relief fund. No communication was there regarding it.The company are slowly opening up around the end of May. As they told me that I would be working remotely. Until recently, they told me I'll be in the office the next day. Knowing that I have a child under 5 years old. Its hard to find a babysitter and would not trust anyone especially with Covid-19 still around. Management does not care that you have a child and will find ways for you to come in. Communication with Supervisors and Management are not ideal and will not get direct answers. GOOD LUCK!
