I really enjoyed my customer family.. It was awesome to be able to help people in a time of need. I was excited about this part of my job. I always take pride in helping others.  The location and office is very nice.. pay is decent.. probably a little higher than most in this field.  They have a lot of turn over in managent and supervision as the vp puts too much pressure on these two groups to produce something that is ultimately up to the customer to create..making it sometimes impossible to do.  csr and assistants stay a bit longer due to less responsibility for customer performance, and don't try to take a vacation.. you get 3 weeks but can never take off to use them.

I enjoyed working with this company. we worked in a small office and were like a family. we got to know our customers and maintain a professional relationship with them. I was responsible for making collection calls, taking and approving or denying applications based on credit or payment history. delivering notices of past due payments to clients in person. taking payments and balancing cash drawers at the end of the day. finding and solving discrepancies in cash drawers of my co workers. taking care of accounts payable/ receivable. closing out each month by printing out required documents and resetting the system.

Manager is uneducated, had close relationship with the supervisor, which made it difficult for him to handle any complaints employees had.  Manager took weekends off while we the employees had to work every weekend. Were expected to know how to do the job without the manager taking time to teach us, what needs to be done. I, myself, learned from another coworker who had been there longer .  Manager  very unprofessional dates customers from the office

Working here was the worst thing ever. Starting off, management was very nice but as time went by they got very personal and would talk so much trash about you. The Houston district supervisor is a horrible human being. You can’t take your vacation time at the beginning or end of the month. You also can’t take Fridays or Mondays off. The supervisor bullies you and is very rude. I hated working with her. I wish I wouldn’t have quit but it was a miserable environment

It's not a good company to work for, too my back stabbing and gossiping.

The two face employees that I hired and training, including my supervisor.

Too stressful when sales are not met. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
When making the collection calls its time consuming.

I wouldn't say this is a job for anyone who is looking for work life balance. Hours are 8:30-5:30, but if numbers aren't met you'll work maybe 2 late nights or weekends. Every 1st and last Saturday hours are 8:30-12:30. The job can be very stressful if you don't have a good manager. 2 call routes are expected to be met everyday if not you have to stay until they are done. Very strict as far as policy goes which is understandable it's a loan company you don't want to break any laws or get fines for little things.

Very poor office and higher management company does not take care of its employees. Make you use your vacation days given to go to doctors appointments or any other missed work occasions. Do not let you take time off from work so most employees use up vacation time.no raises given so employees stuck at same pay. District and regional managers very hard to get a hold of, hardly give employees any help when needed.

YOU ARE EXPECTED TO COLLECT MONEY PEOPLE OWE YOU AT THEIR HOME, JOB OR EVEN AT THEIR PARENTS HOUSE YOU CALL TO INTIMIDATE PEOPLE TO PAY YOU. MANAGEMENT IS HORRIBLE FROM STORE MANAGER ALL THE WAY TO THE OWNER. PEOPLE WHO DON'T DO ANYTHING GET PAID MORE WHILE THE PERSON DOING ALL THE WORK GETS STUCK IN THE SAME POSITION WITH SAME PAY. PLEASE DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY THEY WILL TREAT YOU LIKE BAD AND WONT VALUE YOU AS A HUMAN BEING.

This is a sub prime lender where you work with customers with not so good credit. Management and mid management is paid adequately but lower level employees are paid just above minimum wage. This makes it difficult to work with professional people. If you are hired in at entry level this will be a great job to build office and customers service experience to take else where.

You have to be on calls all day and if there are gaps they get on to you. Even if your trying to help another co worker. No consistency between Supervisor and VP. The supervisor doesn’t get personal space or that you have a life outside of work, he will try to keep you. Overall not the best place for all you have to do.
